It's not the biggest and most deplorable robbery ever. But damn man this was the most important fight of the last 10 years. And the guy who almost everybody thought won the fight was robbed.

Ward was definitely doing the better work in that round, and was on his way to winning the round. If he hadn't been stumbled by that jab, he probably would have won the round. But that was a nicely timed jab from Sergey, and if your jab is so thunderous that you literally shake your opponent to the foundation - I think that definitely swings the round Kovalev's way. But I see where you're coming from. Watching that fight the 2nd and 3rd time, I had also thought Ward had performed better than I realized initially in that opening stanza. But the jab is all anyone will remember from that round.
I don't either, but I've heard enough to know he isn't a huge Kovalev fan. He picked Kov to win by KO, but he likes Ward more.
