When you have guys like Allan Fox and Scott Gilfoid as part of the media it reduces the legitimacy incredibly. And then you have guys like Dan Rafael who should be banned from the sport of Boxing for constant poison. What most people seem to be ignoring (shock) is that the vast majority of actual boxers gave the fight to Ward. Now I wonder who knows more about a fight and how to score...guys who actually get in the ring or guys who try to get views on articles.

 

You also have to equate that majority of people don't know how to score rounds let alone the scoring criteria for scoring a round. Steven A Smith also believed Kov was robbed. We all can agree Steven A knows jack **** about boxing.

I think because of what was at stake it's made more of,if it was a non total fight I reckon most of us wouldn't have too much either way,I of the opinion that Kovalev won but unlike some I know it was a close affair but given as it was close shouldn't the 10/8 round sway it?

 

The sport has always been surrounded by corruption. I made a thread earlier today talking about the 1999 Lewis-Holyfield 1 fight that had people seriously ticked off, just as many are today.

Hmmm? Sergey is going to get a crack at himself? He won the fight. I doubt coward Ward even does the rematch. He will probably be happier getting sued.

 

With Mayweather gone, there's a pressing need to fill that void with the next great American fighter. Ward's the best candidate for the job, so of course he's going to get advantages over a Russian who has to travel because he can't routinely sell out an arena well enough to have a home base himself.
