This was a shocker, I'm sure a couple of people on here called the robbery early and on Sky Paulie Malignaggi called it about round 8-9, the Sky commentary team were basically saying Hooker needed a KO to win or a few knockdowns and Paulie was straight on it and said something like "it's a rock nation fighter on a rock nation card so don't be surprised if there is a real shock on the cards, just saying" I don't think Adam Smith or Macklin thought it was possible because it seemed so clear cut but Paulie was spot on.
This was a Robbery, don't trust the kinda people in Roc Nation to put on a non corrupt event. It's in there blood to not be able to be honest.
If anybody wants to scream robbery, that's the fight you should be screaming about. That was a terrible decision.

Hook/Perez was a total mismatch and everyone knew it...............I knew then that the criminal judges would give Ward a decision if possible.....................Perez toyed with Hook.................
Sadly, you're probably right. It might not be as bad as HBO blackballing Pirog for knocking out Jacobs, but he's going to pay for upsetting the apple cart. Meanwhile, worse fighters will take his slots instead.
I actually did laugh out loud at that. Hooker was an uncoordinated mess, hard to watch - Perez should be furious. Judges RBR available?
I'm starting to think people took dives because with the way he even throws his punches, he can't possibly knock someone out. This is of course assuming that he normally fights in that manner.
This was worse than Pac-Bradley, Marquez-Pac 3, and so many other higher profile fights. There's no style debate. Perez not just outlanded Hooker, but outboxed him and was the aggressor in almost every round.
One of the worst robberies I have ever seen...an absolute disgrace. Hooker didn't win a round....pretty much clearly. If Hooker doesn't step up, and demand to put this right, he is a waste of space. I wouldn't be able to look people in the eye....shameful. I feel gutted for Perez as well.
