I'm just running with the more peaceful 'whoever wins the rematch won the first fight' approach. Gives a lot more peace of mind than flipping through the videos trying to argue rounds that were in all honestly 99% even should be given to the fighter I prefer.
That's actually what I did. The only punches I excluded were ones that clearly didn't land by either fighter. What you see is every shot that could have landed slowed down.
Well for starters in round 3 Kovalev lands between 8 or 9 shots either to the body, head or glancing hooks off the top of the head, and Ward landed 5 or 6, yet you gave the round to Ward. And in the 5th Kovalev lands around 8, and Ward landed around 8, and you gave that to Ward as well. So you present the video as if being fair and balanced, yet at the end of two razor close rounds you give your score and its for Ward, therefore you are subtlety and subjectively trying to influence the viewer to see it your way. I didn't say you were overt did I? The whole round should be slo-mo if you want to go the Money-Pac route, therefore a punch here and there can't be overly emphasized over another.
In the 3rd, Ward is clearly more effective in snapping Kovalev's head back. I think that round will become clearer the more people look at it. Ward lands 3-4 left hands that clock Kovalev and move him. Kovalev's right hands are glancing and he lands one good final jab. Not enough to take the round. I found Ward's shots more effective in the 5th. Counting the punches doesn't weigh the punches. The video is objective because I showed exchanges from both sides and simply scored the round. Favoring one fighter in a close round is not bias, inching a round can and does happen in close rounds. The whole round being slow-mo distracts from clean punching which is what I wanted to emphasize since its considered by most to be the most important scoring criteria. I selected every punch that could have landed. That's not biased.
I don't know if you are gonna call it bias. I think everyone have preference. I have watch it twice round 3 and 5, have both for kovalev, no need slo mo and this ****.
I have watched in slo-mo and see a drop tear drop on mayweather cheek every time pac corner him..ha2x
Wow people are still crying and whining about this? There's 2 great fights coming up, Loma/Walters, and Charlo/J-Rock.
Round 3 is a Kovalev round, you really have to bend over backwards to give to Ward. That's just bias if you have to look for certain things to give it to Ward, omitting the obvious advantage Kovalev had. People were just rooting for the underdog in that round.
