Kovalev didn't do it well enough, but GGG is a master at cutting off the ring. It would give Ward hell., nowhere for him to run.

If Ward ever dared to step into the ring with The Triple God, there would only be one outcome...#SleepTime

GGG would be taken into deep waters and drowned. I don't understand why fans believe Ward will get walked down by GGG with his ability to cut off the ring. Ward will smoother G at times. Other times he will use his footwork to evade G's haymakers. The point is G will be off balanced left to guess what Ward is going to do. Also I understand you guys think G's bravado powers up his chin. He can be effected by shots.

Ward will govern all distance and range in this fight. This is another boogeyman case where victory is only pondered on the notion that G can land a KO blow or one that hurts Ward putting him in a position to be taken out. I give G no more than 3 rounds in this fight.

Ward is too skilled and versatile, tougher and stronger than any opponent G has faced.

    K2 has already realized this.

Being able to cut off the ring wouldn't mean much against a master inside fighter&clincher who's also much bigger and stronger.

GGG is a middleweight with short arms..Kovalev is a light-heavyweight with longer arms...GGG wouldn't have to cut the ring off, because Ward wouldn't move that much against GGG.

Master of cutting off the ring against the array of non-elite fighters on his resume (+ an elite welterweight)....

Honestly, I thought Ward looked fairly mediocre in the Kov fight. showed heart and tenacity, but skill wise wasn't that impressed really. Ward was the smaller, quicker man, and apparently boxing wizard, and he didn't even really outbox Kov. GGG should move up and fight him. His speed is the only thing that would give GGG problems, but GGG is used to opponents being faster. They both have A+ ring IQ. Would be interesting but GGG has a solid chance to beat him.

Sounds like Floyd's whole career, staying out of the ring vs legit opposition.

Good at ring cutting , yes? Master of ?? How?
What elusive guys has he faced?
Lara can move. He wants no part of him. Ward can move . He wanted no part of him either.
