If you could watch from ringside just one fictional fight between fighters that never met who would you pick?
Think I'll go for Dempsey v Louis.
    How about you?

    How come?
For me, it's the two best punchers in history facing off. Not many better potential matchups.

But I'm wondering what your reasons are.

By the way. I saw a clip a while ago where Louis and Dempsey are on a talk show, and they do short demonstration showing how they would fight each other. Have you seen it? I need to find it...

lol, wait you actually know what I'm talking about?
It was in one of those news archives online, right?

Also, just copy and paste the link, I don't think they allow image embedding here any more.

I think the ultimate matchup is Joe Louis vs. Muhammad Ali

As much as I would love to see other matchups, I think this is the most significant one.
The longest reigning champ vs. The GOAT

Marciano vs Johnson. Under the rules Johnson fought under. Would love to see Rocky's reaction if he gets knocked down and, looks up to see Johnson standing directly over him.

Damn that would be a good one.
I would also love to see Joe Louis vs. Wlad K, as I think we would learn a lot from it.

That would be a huge mismatch predictable fight in favor of the faster ,taller, and more durable less predictable Ali.

In all seriousness, it'd have to be Ali/Tyson.

    Great match up!

As for me I would have to say Robinson vs Greb 160 lbs. They are regarded as the two greatest fighters of all time, I would love to see them fight for the number one slot. Greb was a fantastic pressure fighter from what I read and Robinson was an amazing ring technician/combination puncher. No way either one gets knocked out.
