Kovalev would KO Froch. Froch would stand in front of Kovalev trying to trade and get overwhelmed. Froch made a living off of bullying SMWs because hes a big SMW. He wouldn't be bullying Kovalev.
Froch always came to the ring around 172 - 4lbs, that's lighter than many MWs. He looks and carries himself like a big dude and fights pretty tall (indeed he is fairly tall) but he really wasn't that big for a SMW.
Kovalev is all wrong for Froch.. KO for Kovalev in the middle rounds with Froch having absorbed inhuman amounts of punishment.

Kovalev could outbox him or KO him. As styles make fights I think Kovalev brushes Froch aside easily and brutally in 3 to 6 rounds.
Froch is a brawler with average power. He gets put to sleep inside 5 rounds. The real fight is Kov or Ward vs Calzaghe. After watching what happened last Saturday. Calzaghe UD all day, even with those cheating judges.
not sure sergey can ko froch, but he mightknock him down more than once,. however he'd be too in his face, carl wont win on points despite a late rally.
Froch Wins this, Froch can Box with Kovalev and is Clever enough not to take any stupid shots though will get tagged and will give more back..... Kovalev will slow quicker because of the pace and Froch has an engine way better than Kovalev and will be able to put it on him strong from Round 9.... Kovalev wouldn't have enough left at this point...... Froch stops him late.
