i have a question for you... foreman WEIGHED 232 IN 1976, WITHOUT TRAINING WEIGHTS OR LOOKING FAT, HOW THE HELL WOULD HAVE WEIGHED 230 IN MODERN TIMES IF HE WOULD HAVE TRAINED LIFTING WEIGHTS?
Well that is the point though, the bigger HW's would be better with added size. Foreman would be 6'6 250 with the calculated bmi mass . Tyson was built for taller guys due to what Cus created ,at 6'2 he wouldn't be the Tyson we know but if you take Louis and make him 6'3 225 he then benefits like Foreman would . This is why when you guys say Marciano beats Foreman ,Tyson ,etc etc its not believable .
Jeffries 235 Johnson 218 Dempsey 212 Louis 220 Marciano 195 Liston 225 Frazier 215 Foreman 232 Ali 225 Holmes 220
About how I see it, though 220 would be too heavy for Louis, who depended on speed to generate his power. One key point, in a 12 round format, they could afford to be a little heavier.
I think Louis would be fine. Like Ali and unlike many others he had big legs and a upper body that would have been bigger and stronger today I feel ..
I don think Joe Louis had big legs. Ali had 25-26" thighs. This content is protected http://www.rarenewspapers.com/view/579621 Joe would be bigger today, sure, but if he lost his speed, he might not be better.
