I agree. Something was stopping him from going all out. I only saw the short video

He didn't even get the biggest gift of the night let alone getting the biggest gift of last couple of years.

Even if Kovalev did eek out a win, it wasn't anything to proud of. He didn't look like the confident monster puncher we've seen in the past

Kovalev deserved the W and thank goodness You Tube will stay around because people will ALWAYS be able to see Sergey beat Ward :) I think in two years time instead of 75% people in favor of Sergey it will be 90% the more they watch that fight. They might be a little bias though after Sergey finishes the job in the rematch or Ward ducks him. One of the two.

Ward knows it too. That's why he's saying ******ed stuff since the fight :D

Do you actually have a scorecard or did you just divide the fight into halves in your head? Because vague impressions are not how you score a fight. A fighter can inch out 7 close rounds. Close is not the same thing as being on the table for either fighter and impossibly indistinguishable.

Ward won an easy fight to score I had ward up by a few rounds... kov landed the harder shots but just not enough.. wards body work payed off and he dominated the last 6 rounds and took 3 of the first 6. For once the corrupt judges got it right.. boxing is on a good path and congrats to ward and kovalev for putting on an awesome fight, ward wins but there isnt a loser, cant wait for these 2 warriors to have a rematch

Morons who have no idea what they are watching think Ward won. If they were life guards a lot of swimmers would drown because they would think they were just waving at them and not actually drowning.

Case in point; Ward was drowning against Kovalev and they think he deserved to win.

It was a corrupt decision. The corrupt officials ruined the Kovalev masterclass. Just ask yourself would you rather watch a Kovalev fight or a Ward fight. The answer is simple. The corrupt officials stimulate dirty and boring boxing. Other fighters will watch the fight and tell themselves ''Fight dirty and an on the back foot and you will survive for a home decision". It will influence coaches when adjusting tactics. It was a bad night for boxing.

Ward won 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12 with 3, 6, 12 being rounds that could go either way, Kovalev won 1, 2, 4, 10 with rounds r4 and 10 going either way, r10 people say it's clear Kov, but up to the jab that Kovalev landed when Ward attempted to do the a bolo punch it was even. Not even close to being a robbery.

Ward won rounds 5, 7, 9 and 11 with 12 could have gone either way. It was a robbery of the highest scale.

Robbery on the highest scale? that tells me everything I need to know about you lmfao, even the biggest kovalev fans who call it a robbery have laughed at the notion of it being a robbery of the highest scale. You either clearly have an agenda, or you really dont watching boxing much at all.

I love how butthurt posters with an agenda are though. You cant fight stupidity with being unbiased so, Ward won every rd from 3-12. Clear victory and schooling for Ward!

Apparently you have to convince yourself that Ward won by watching the match multiple times and by an angle, they have become the new Pacfans, next thing you know you would need to watch the fight in slow motion and see those subtle taps Ward scored on kova that the world missed.

I'm still scratching my head at.
    A. Kov stepping off the gas for whatever reason?

    B. Why did Ward try to do a double leg takedown Kov?
