Shark takes the last round for me. Ward wins by a narrow decision. Ward an accident waiting to happen with David Price stamina and punch resistance.
So far enjoyed Hall VS Jones, Evans and Stalker had some nice moments, and a strong finish by Clarke proves that Ward is very beatable and much easier to hit than usual, worrying that MJW struggled badly towards the end, proves that he needs opponents like Clarke to test him.
Watching Langford, meh so hard to get excited by him. He's just dull to watch, little power and some work rate but in against a powder puff puncher once again, you get the sense he will get brutally KO'd when he fights someone with half a punch.
Shame about a slow for Clark came on strong from the 8th. Just left himself to much to do. Don't see wat all the hype by sky on ward tho. Barker comments very biased.
That was frustrating by Clark there. He spent the first 7 or 8 rounds not doing much except showboat and getting out landed by Ward. When he turned up the heat in the last 4 rounds he showed he could pressure and hurt Ward but he'd given away too many rounds by that point. Should've upped the tempo 3 rounds earlier and he'd likely be British champ now. He looked to have enough left in the tank at the end to have been able to do that as well. Hopefully he can get a rematch at some point and implement his game plan a lot earlier.
Sheedy is a tidy boxer but doesn't let his hands go, disappointing really he has nice timing but he won't throw more than a couple of punches sporadically. Very disappointing effort against Langford who really isn't very good.
Then Sheedy wins the round clearly jolting Langford's head all over the place, lol. He's a strange one, I see potential in Sheedy nice tight guard, good timing and lovely tight punches, just has no work rate whatsover. Lazy but talented.
Katie Taylor - the ring announcer omits the opponent's losses then the Sky commentating clown states that the opponent has picked up a few defeats. 14 to be precise mate FFS - why do they insist on pretending this is a 50/50 fight when it is a 100/0 risk AJ v Avilla type fight.
This is a bloody strange fight Sheedy VS Langford, you feel that Sheedy if he had more power could land one and put Langford down, but he wins a round and does **** all the next round, bizarre.. maybe stamina issues.
You're right, they shouldn't have omitted her defeats but at the same time they were never going to put her in the ring with a dangerous fighter on her professional debut.
