Wooohoooo! This is my 10,000th post, and I am honoured that it is about my favourite fighter, Lomachenko. I want to thank Al Haymon for making this possible.

Being at 10k posts, I am officially among those who need to get out more..but why do I need to go anywhere else to eat when I've got a steak at home?

 

Well, I guess 10000 is one more than 9999 and one less than 10001, so it's a critical landmark........

 

How long until the actual fight?

 

I thought I heard 10:45 somewhere? Which is surreal, because there are only 3 undercard fights, all squash matches I believe.

 

I have left Bob Arum behind. His landmark tonight is a mere 2000 fights in his whole lifetime, I have 5x the no. of posts. What a rookie.

 

According to The Telegraph, 'The bout will start at approximately 3:00am UK time, so set your alarms.'
I've got a bunch of sweets, a ribena and a mango juice. I won't need to sleep for a while.

 

The general consensus is that Nicholas Walters is elite, even better than his resume.
Given PBF fought a drained Corrales (not exaggerating at all), Walters will be a better win than that.
Lomachenko will stop him late or outpoint him, and Walters may never return to the ring the same, psychologically.

lol Mayweather would've beaten healthy Corrales good anyway. I didn't know the extent of the 'drainage' originally.

 

I agree with Gannicus. I see a late stoppage for Lomachenko. I think he is the kind of fighter that can dismantle a very good fighter and take away his mental will. Just my opinion from what I've seen and read about him

 

We will see shades of Tyson in Lomachenko tonight with his bobbing and obviously his great aggressive counter punching.
