As much as Salido's weight/low blowing factored in the fight, there's no doubt that Salido's smothering loma, and bodywork gave Loma serious issues. Loma most likely has addressed this issue unlike some of his fans that think he was flawless in the fight. Am I saying Salido would have won if he came in on weight? No, but the weight/low blows were the only factors that gave him issues. The loss against Salido probably benefited loma greatly. The dude was so used to winning, when a winner takes a loss it haunts them and true winners like Loma will grind to fix those issues and become even greater.

 

Can you all stop shouting?!

 

If Loma is dropped like Ward was, is he going to sink or swim?

 

I'm leaning towards Loma but I wouldn't be surprised if this turns out like Ward-Kov with Loma getting dropped and winning on the cards

The crazy thing about the Ward-Kovalev knockdown is that I EXPECTED NOTHING LESS than for Ward to get up and catch up, that's how much I rate him.
