yeah they completely ignored walters body work. Im still hard pressed to find any good punches loma landed in round 1. he had a little flurry at the end

 

If you are going to troll at least troll in a match where the guy you think wasn't getting out boxed and schooled ended up quitting because he was so frustrated that he was getting schooled.

Lomachenko is a generational type fighter in terms of talent AND guts.

Not only that, but this man wants to fight the best every fight and wastes no time with tune ups.

There is nothing anyone can hate about that.

hard to score a fight if neither fighter is landing punches

 

i gave round 1 and 3 to walters. i don't see an argument for loma in those rounds. his punches were mostly blocked and walters was landing the harder body shots. i just watched the rounds again to make sure.

the only dominant round by loma was round 7.

 

It's honestly a damn shame this guy isn't getting the public love that he so richly deserves.

He is such a good fighter. Ultra ultra talented.

 

Walters -

Loses each round (potentially winning a single close round).
Outboxed from round 2 until the end.
Looks at his corner 6 times in the fight for help.
Holds on for dear life and gets warned multiple times.
Gets schooled for the final 2 rounds and quits because in his own words 'I was getting hurt and I didn't want to continue to get hurt', 'I was trying to land but I wasn't getting in range and wasn't touching him'.
Quits on his stool and doesn't want to fight on.

itsa - Lomachenko didn't do ****. He landed nothing. Walters quit because he was too 'inactive'.
