Women's boxing can't bring in viewers? Well UFC has proved that having a womens division is good for the sport. And Katie Taylor coverage in 'mainstream' far better than most undercard mens fights if that turns into viewers, advertising etc its a good thing.

If you can't stomach seeing women fight i guess you shudder in horror at kicking out time every weekend in various shitholes up and down the land!!

Such and educated and erudite observation. I see the private school fees didn't go to waste...

But it doesn't matter because there NOT fighting men are they you wet wipe.

I don't 'Prefer' women boxing but I have no problem watching it and have no problem with women fights being on more bills.

Seriously I cannot get my head around all the people getting so enraged about it, its just a boxing match. Chill out you old fashioned fools.

I didn't really know what to expect with this fight but I actually quite enjoyed it & thought Katie boxed very well.

The problem for Eddie is how can he build her future fights into something big when no other females have a recognisable name as they don't fight on UK TV?

Ha ha there are some loop the loop loonatics on this forum. The same 'cool dudes' expressing their disrespectful opinions towards elite female athletes, wouldn't have the minerals to express their disrespectful opinions in the company of said elite female athletes, nor their mothers/wives/girlfriends/sisters. Have a bit of respect for people who have maximised their ability in an extremely tough sport and won everything there is to win. How they would do up against men in their field is completely irrelevant, unless you're a C.U.N.T.

I know feck all about women's boxing myself but if you can't appreciate the skill level involved in Katie's performance last night, you're not a boxing fan. Fantastic speed, punch variety, reflexed defence and killer instinct. It was a more entertaining performance than any of the men on the card put on so what's not to like? As a boxing fan I'll enjoy watching a woman exhibit better boxing ability and entertainment than most of the men in the sport. I appreciate elite boxing skill, simple as that.

Totally agree, I have always been a firm believer that woman should have the same right as men to box but have never personally been a big fan of it, but I watched Taylor fight and really liked it. Her punch selection was special as good as any fighter I have seen presently seen in Europe.

You obviously don't know what a glass jaw is. Broner got up from the canvas against Maidana and completed the fight. He took his beating like a man and had the chin to finish the fight after an early KD.

Joking aside, Katie would beat the likes of Prince Patel. With the 8kg weight advantage she'd school him.

I suppose that means Khan doesn't have a glass jaw either being that Maidana couldn't even put him on the floor with much bigger punches. And is this, taking a beating 'like a man':

I'm not a lesbian, I like fighting. I'm new to pure boxing and I'm a much better kicker at the moment than I am a puncher.

I think sex change should have their own catergory. It's not fair that a man can have years of testosterone from puberty to develop heavier and bigger skeletons and then fight women regardless of operation and treatement. Even if they lose that muscle mass they still have latent physical advantage from natural juicing.
