Ahh... the old "bully argument"... I suppose one needs merely to puff out one's chest and stomp his feet to show that bully?

And what exactly would Marciano done against Clay/Ali? And by the way, those who attended to Liston after the Clay fight attested to his injuries.

If everyone has trouble reading a book, the problem is probably the author.

He was pretty old, 40 at least.
He gave Wepner a beating of course, and had he been in his prime it would have been easy work.

Anyone can be starched for the count if they carry on boxing long enough past their prime. That is a fact!

You wouldn't have dreamed it would be necessary to point that out would you?

In all honesty I understood what was meant by fantasy interview, but I thought I'd give you a chance to explain why made up quotes are worthy of a thread. Thought there might be something more to it.

Start an idiotic thread and don't be surprised we all respond with our own idiocy.

If you think the thread is idiotic why respond at all? Surely that would just make you an idiot?
BTW. It's gone into 3 pages with 38 replies.

I thought there might be something more to it. I was unsure at first.
Yes, I've already implied I might be an idiot in this thread and am not going to pretend otherwise.
That was AFTER you'd implied fault with everyone who didn't "get it" as slow, or "hard work" as you put it.

Intentionally or not this is a thread with a click-bait title. It was misleading and it misled me momentarily and obviously misled others more so. On first reading some people here obvious skimmed over the word "fantasy", which is easily done when they were enticed by the title and looking forward to the quote. The point you were obviously trying to make you've probably already made quite successfully in the other thread. You clearly felt it deserved it's own thread but most of the early responders thought they were getting something else.

The fault, if it exists, lies both with the readers and the author. Preferably there's no reason to fault anyone.

    I was responding to this.

"If everyone has trouble reading a book, the problem is probably the author".
And not "everyone" had trouble .

    Yep, I'm afraid so.

It's been shown many of times over the years that this "fact" just isn't true.
