    Update
WBC will allow Wilder to get another voluntary defense early 2017. That makes 5 voluntary defenses in a row. Has this ever happened before in boxing? Expect another easy opponent next for this chump...

What the hell is going on with those rankings? Wawrzyk, Price, Rudenko? What did they do to be ranked? No doubt, Rudenko or Wawrzyk will be next for Wilder.

    WBC
    Champ: Deontay Wilder

    1. Alexander Povetkin
    2. Bermane Stiverne
    3. Kubrat Pulev
    4. Johann Duhaupas
    5. Bryant Jennings
    6. Artur Szpilka
    7. Gerald Washington
    8. Carlos Takam
    9. Mariusz Wach
    10. Dillian Whyte
    11. Dereck Chisora
    12. Jarrell Miller
    13. Andrzej Wawrzyk
    14. David Price
    15. Andriy Rudenko

Said for a while they were grooming Wawrzyk for Wilder.... Would be an absolute joke of a fight but not surprising in the least. Rudenko would be an awful opponent as well but would much rather prefer see him. Wawrzyk is pretty much the Polish equivalent of Price without the lethal right hand. Laughable chin, mediocre skill, stiff and robotic. Rudenko at least has some grit and durability to him. Arguably beat Browne and is at least competing in the top 30-40 area.

It will be Miller or Washington. His people will target an american boxer for his next fight. Both fights will suck anyways :D

Yeah I would certainly prefer either of those fights because at least they have the physicality and a little bit of pop to possibly cause Wilder some issue. Rudenko or the Polish jigger would be absolutely farcical opponents.

Its kind of telling what people expect of wilder that you just have to look at the top 15 pick out the worst fighter and you know wilder will fight him next

Isn't he sanctioned to fight the winner of Pov-Stiverne?

That's what they said so many times, he has to fight his mando next. Reality shows that no matter what weight, there's always another exception when it comes to the WBC.

I'm hopeful that they will enforce the interim nature of the Pov Stiverne fight and not let him face another weak opponent. How can you have a voluntary defense when someone else is interim champ? It wouldn't make aense. His next fight should be for the full belt against Pov Stiverne or he should be stripped

Anyone other than the interim champ would be farcical. Also, Miller is entirely unproven, I rate him no higher than the other two.

I'd love him to pick Price. I think that's a total 50-50 fight. Whoever lands first given those mandibles.

Wilder is terrible but he knocks Price out easily.

Realistically, the winner of Povetkin/Stiverne won't be available until next summer. So if Wilder makes a comeback around february, he'll probably be allowed to have a tune up. I wouldn't mind a fight between him and Miller or Washington.

Then he should wait until the summer. Four sub top 10 defenses in a row is enough. Another would be a disgraceful record. Plus, how can you defend when someone else is interim champ? It doesn't make sense.

Povetkin is the guy he must face next, unless Povetkin suffers an injury on Dec 10th there is no excuse.
