My mistake guys, it is a confirmed 50-50 http://www.skysports.com/boxing/new...e-fight-in-a-split-second-says-david-coldwell
Don't know why Haye is being criticised, Bellew called HIM out and on embarrassing fashion. Straight after he was interviewed and said he thought it was a mismatch. He then makes Bellew agree to all his demands, which he does, now we have a fight. Not sure how else Haye could have got out of it.
The same people who "like" this fight also found Haye vs. Harrison "intriguing". Remember Nelson's pre-fight monologue "This fight has truly captured the imagination of UK boxing fans"
What a load of nonsense. Who was calling for this fight before a 'beef' was plucked out of thin air??? So many potential fights and we get fed this garbage on PPV!
The difference in size between Haye and Bellew will be less than Wlad vs Haye. Were you crying crocodile tears then?
The only thing 50/50 about this fight is whether or not spends his the night of the fight in a hotel room wondering what happened or a hospital bed thinking the money might not have been worth it.
I'm a British boxing fan and it's a joke of a "fight" and standing alone isn't a PPV fight and that's why people are not sold on it. I've said before, Bellew would rather get knocked out by Haye for large money than get knocked out by Usyk or Lebedev for small money. That's all this is, a money making exercise, Bellew isn't going to stay at heavyweight even if he pulls off a major upset and Haye isn't going to get much credit for knocking out a cruiserweight. The build up might be edgy, simply because they want to sell it, the Bellew Haye spat at ringside was staged in my opinion and it will be staged at pressers and during interviews. It makes a mockery of boxing in my opinion, if you like this sort of fight, build up and fakery then you must love WWE.
Its not simples though is it? This is again another fight idiots think is the pinnacle of boxing and does nothing and i mean nothing to help the sport.
Exactly. They just plucked a beef out of thin air. Boxing is in a hole and its fights like this that are digging it deeper and deeper.
Not true. I've never given Fraudley the time of day. He was considered a joke and a failure well before that fight was signed. Bellew has performed better at TWO separate weight classes than A-farce ever did at HW.
Who's crying crocodile tears? I hate Bellew, I want to see Haye brutally KO him< but as much as I dislike him I don't want to see him killed. There's only an inch difference between Viktor Postol and Sergey Kovalev, what the ****, let's see it, make the match. There's only a 2 inch difference between Moises Flores and Denis Lebedev, let's get it on. The match I really want to see is Hisashi Amagasa vs. Adonis Stevenson, same height after all, that would be awesome.
We're backing the same horse in this race. Bellew is simply pantomime and I just wish there was a boxing time machine which could take this fight back in time to prime cruiser Haye and make the match at the weight where TB thinks he's the world's best and without the excuse of stepping up to heavy. He's got a ready-made excuse for the brutal stoppage he will endure next year. He'd have been stopped at CW too, though.
Yeah the really annoying thing is when he gets his block knocked off he'll use that as an excuse for when he gets KO'd again at cruiserweight. We'all hear about how he dared to be great and paid the price, suffering irrepable damage from one of heavyweight's biggest punchers.
