Boxing fans criticising Haye v Bellew !?

Because they're insulting the intelligence of boxing fans by trying to hype this fight up as competitive.
It's a mismatch plain and simple and they have the gall to put into PPV.

 

After ggg/brook we are seeing even more of these types of fights. Pac/Lomachenko rumors are out there. This fight. Doubling down on a bad trend.

 

We've already heard everything.

Haye being called a fraud, con man and sideshow Bob 8000 times.

Bellew being called a bellend and Haye doing us a favour by beating him.

 

I blame Haye for all the backlash. He passed on a promised fight with Old Briggs to fight a smaller guy who's going to look porky in the ring that night. Bellew is not a HW ffs.

 

Haye does serve up some terrible opponents. De Mori and Gjarbage I'll let him off with as they were free on Dave tv but him vs Bellew is the worst UK PPV fight since he toyed with Audley for 2 rnds in 2010 because he'd backed himself to win in it in 3. Briggs would have been a much more interesting bout, that's how bad this is.

 

In Britain, as in the UFC, the best only fight the best.

 

Bellew isn't even an entertaining trash talker. He just isn't funny.

I see nothing wrong in this fight,both guys are same height and Bellews looked strong at Cruiser weight,as long as Bellew faces Breidis next I can't see the prob

Haye LOVES to play with the desires of boxing fans. He loves to promise "high quality fights", then deliver mismatches and disappointments. He is part of everything that is wrong with boxing. He is fleecing naive boxing fans and laughing all the way to the bank.
