Dempsey & Langford The Only Sub 190lbs Men With A Realistic Chance V Marciano?

    Are Jack Dempsey and Sam Langford the only fighters with a realistic chance of beating Marciano? Or are there others, young Evander perhaps? A prime Charles? Tunney?Fitz?
    I would pick Dempsey to turn the trick ,any other candidates?15rds.
    What say you?

    Well there are loads of great fighters in the weight range, and many of them have "a chance." Charles, in his prime, would have had a good chance, for example, and he's a fighter Rocky beat twice. But I think that Langford and Dempsey are the only ones you could reasonably make a favourite. Not saying they would be, but it'd be a reasonable side to take.

    R u asking about all the HWC against Marciano?
    If so i think theres quite a few just going up to 1980

    I still pick Marciano over Dempsey. Cruiser Vander is a tough one, tho, as is a prime Charles .

    Tunney would. Unfortunately just no way aside from guessing how the hwt champions pre Jeffries would do. Corbett had the endurance and was shifty enough to evade many including Rocky at least it seems.

    Dempsey, Langford, Charles, Holyfield, Schmeling, Tunney have a realistic chance.
    Fitzsimmons maybe has a realistic chance.

    Floyd Patterson ? I think Marciano might moida him but I'm not sure Floyd's chances are entirely unrealistic.

    Tunney UD over Maricano. He's a better version of LaStarza, much tougher, stronger, and with better footwork.

    I think Tunney would have a pretty good chance. He could be really effective at neutralizing Marciano's aggression.

    Plenty of people in that weight range would have a realistic chance, but those two might be the only ones with a high likelihood of success.

    Yeah Dempsey and Langford are the top two threats.

    Fitz, Corbett, Golvokin, and Tunney all have a chance.

    Golovkin?, really?
    I'm not exactly Marciano's biggest fan, that due to him being overated by a few here, but give the man his dues, he would walk Golovkin down without too much worry.

    I think he's a good matchup because he can wack. He most likely gets destroyed though yes.
