I get free tickets from the 02 has my friends company has them as a client. Should be a laugh and all we have to pay is the booking fee. Which is weird but boxing for £2.50? Can't complain.

Decent, that in a box too or just seating? The boxes are a bit far away for boxing imo

Just seating. The boxes come up occasionally but usually it just gives you a little map of what section they've been allocated. They're nearly always decent.

You're right about the boxes not being great though. I was in one for the end of year tennis tournament and they're just a bit awkwardly placed which is weird considering how new the arena is.

I knew there'd be someone who claimed £2.50 would be too much for this fight. If you don't think the spectacle of seeing Tony Bellew shut up is worth the price of a euromillions ticket then I don't know what's wrong with you.

£2.50 is great value for any kind of boxing. I didn't even mind watch Haye dispatch Arnold Garbage and Demori for that kind of loose change.

£2.50 reflects the true value of this fight in boxing terms. But oddly I'm still looking forward to it...

A big part of live sports of any kind is the atmosphere and it will be electric while it lasts...

I was happy to pay £30. Wouldn't pay tge silly prices on stubhub nor would I pay to watch on box office. Will watch in a pub.

That's as much as a coffee at Costa. But it's your money, so crack on with it.

Somebody used to post on here stating that only a token 100-200 tickets actually go on public sale and sold in seconds. Sure he posted that the tickets are sold to the touts on a bulk cherry picking basis 2 days before fight pass members after the fighter allocation is retained.

Based on numerous unsuccessful attempts to purchase tickets for huge Matchroom fights, the above sadly sounds accurate.

That was ProPunter who always spun the line about 200 tickets going on sale, no matter what arena a fight was taking place at, there was only ever 200 left for general sale!! truth is that there was three presale windows before todays open sale for which a decent amount was no doubt set aside for, o2 Priority on Monday, Fightpass yesterday and also AXS yesterday (not to mention what sponsors and fighters themselves have been allocated....and yes, also the allocation that goes direct to Stubhub), Of course, there was much fewer than 20,000 on sale today but certainly a lot more than 200! When people go on at 10 minutes after the general tickets are on sale, because of the interest the chances are what is left has already been sold or are sitting in peoples 'baskets'

For what it's worth, I've just this second tried to get tickets and am holding 4 x £300 tickets in my basket, that appears to be the only price point that still has tickets - a bit too heavy for me, besides, I managed to get £80 uppers on Monday (terrible seats though, very back row), but there are still some left, but expensive!
