Haye/Bellew PPV - Is this the final straw..

A silly fight, but the build up will be comical

 

The WWE press conference was held today and the acting by the main characters was immaculate.

 

I thought Bellew looked a bit shook up if i'm honest, mind you I would do too if I was standing next to the man I knew was going to brutally knock me out in 2 months time.

 

Tony's big mouth has got him in trouble here. Haye is easy to rile and whether he's put it on to sell the fight or not, David has bought into it.

You think a man of his age would have calmed down by now really.

 

What would you rather have? A couple of guys sit there telling us how there really good friends.

If I'm a promoter I want to see hate and do not care if its real or not.

 

Agreed, I love it when two trash talkers go at it, I don't really care if the hatred is real or not as long as both fighters are trying to promote the fight instead of the usual dull press conferences we get in boxing these days.

I think that's why boxing is on the decline right now while MMA is on the rise because those guys have fighters with the personality to promote a fight.

 

My favourite part of the presser was Haye and Hearn going at each other. Some home truths were said.

 

I swear some people would like to have a bunch of Richie Woodhall clones dull as dishwater doing nothing.

Bellew can be annoying but at least he brings some drama to the proceedings.

Agreed. Only real truth spoken by Haye. Fast Eddie has as huge ego like all rich kids and Bellew is getting Koed. As far as I'm concerned he was the only honest person at the table. Shane McGuigan wasn't even truthful he said it's about power. It's about levels class and weight and all in Hayes favour. Bellew ran against Stevenson and he'll run for a minute or two and then get sparked when he panicks and throws. He could fight 5 cruiser defences and not earn this payday. The point is why should the general public be fooled by Sky that it's competitive to pay for Bellews retirement plan and line matchrooms pockets.

 

How many times did haye tell bellew he's getting knocked out, more than I can count, bellews pathetic reply was what would you do "if" I ko you... it's obvious even bellew doesn't believe in himself

 

Haye couldn't even answer why he wasn't fighting Briggs or Browne for a strap because Bellend couldn't shut up like Haye did for his Bellend statement. Bellend also said after it's a disgrace what Hate said about putting him in hospital. The Moron needs to watch back some of his greatest hits on YouTube.

 

Haye's always been pretty good with words except when he got absolutely clowned on in the Fury press conference

 

Lets not kid ourselves here. Haye is doing it for the payday. If David Haye was simply all about becoming HW champion again he wouldn't be fighting Bellew. The same Haye that fought Harrison for a payday. Haye will fight anyone for the right money.

Haye is making more money fighting Bellew than he would fighting anyone else bar Joshua so while he can sit there and claim its uncompetitive and an easy nights work you better believe his thankful the fight is happening. Who else was Haye going to fight? He couldn't even find the money to pay Briggs.

You cant pin all the blame on Hearn and Bellew for making this fight as the fight doesn't happen if Haye doesn't want it too.

 

LOL They were both having a good laugh together 5 mins later in another room shaking hands on a job well done to sell PPVs.
