The British domestic middleweight merry go around after the top 2

after Saunders and Eubank jr... the rest of the domestic scene seems a bit lacking in talent.. it's a load of guys who won't get past British/commonwealth level...

Tommy Langford, Brian Rose, Jack Arnfield, John Ryder, Tom Doran, Lewis Taylor, Adam Etches, Craig Cunningham, Sam Sheedy, Cello Renda

Anthony Ogogo and Conrad Cummings were seen as prospects but they've been exposed and will be added to the domestic merry go around.

Who do you think is the 3rd best UK middleweight?


I like the look of Marcus Morrison though I think he'll do well.

 

Felix Cash could turn out to be good as well, looks good but very hard to tell how good after 4 fights against very limited opp

 

And it starts to look like Saunders retired after edging Lee for the WBO belt, so there's only Eubank Jr left at the domestic top.

 

He has a very cool name.

 

If I was to pick who is the next best as of today out of those listed it would be Rose, he's a bit faded but I think his experience puts him over the rest.

I thought he easily beat Macklin and I wouldn't call any of them big punches so Roses skills should match up decently.

I see the name Marcus Morrison every now and then but I haven't seen him fight, he's got a pretty record. Is he any good?

Langfords only chance of defending the belt is rematching Sheedy. I'd back any of the rest to beat him.

 

Very disappointed with him. after all his old talk about being a true gypsy fighting man etc etc ....really he only barely edged past Andy Lee in the end....and ..nothing since....

 

always the first thing i say when he's announced..."what a name". Cash is right, with a name like Felix Cash he doesn't need a nickname

 

Really wish he would pull his finger out. Clearly a talented fighter with a few big scalps on his record.

 

I know - at his best he really is a superb boxer.

 

Doesn't seem Saunders or Eubank are interested in fighting, well, anyone. Not even eachother.

 

The 'real gypsy fighting men' turned out to be a lot of hot air and not much steel.

It's a real shame as I had high hopes for both Tyson and BJS once they won their titles.

 

Its the same over here with our traveler boxers - there's no shortage of ability => but they just cant seem to hold it together for any length of time.

 

Well Tyson seems to have legitimate mental health issues but BJS just comes across as thick and lazy. Not that Tyson isn't both of those things but you know what I mean, he clearly isn't the full shilling.

 

will Anthony fowler turn pro at middleweight? maybe hell be fast tracked

 

Elliot Matthews is pretty good.

Think he was due to fight Blackwell just before he fought Eubank jr but got cut in sparring.
