Wonder on what side thats come from, cant imagine it being Eddie with the Leeds support and the position Josh is in
Was warrington well-served by matchroom? How active has he been? How mant tv dates etc? Im not sure he has been very well looked after????
Maybe he should have accepted Hearn's proposed date for the Selby fight and he'd have made a hell of a lot of money from a sell-out, probably PPV too. Matchroom want to make big domestic fights and if Warrington shits the fights then he serves no purpose.
I wonder how this played out. Either Warrington has had a really good offer elsewhere or Matchroom have told him they want riskier fight next year for what they are prepared to pay him and team Warrington want to go down another route.
It's fairly obvious..Warren has made Warrington an offer that's exceeds his current deal, Josh has gone to Hearn with it and asked him if he can better it Hearn can't/won't = Josh off to warren
haha was wondering who from matchroom he could poach to build Bn/BT around, don't think he's going to shake things up on the viewer/subscription side but he does sell a lot of tickets, provided frank keeps him in leeds Also won't the WBO featherweight title be vacant soon as Lomachenko has moved up, no doubt frank politely reminded him of his relationship with the WBO
Selby isn't with Matchroom is he? Also there is Frampton....the more that leave Eddie the sooner the better to break his monopoly on UK boxing and tv coverage.....
He certainly seemed to be. Headlining Sky cards, big fuss made about him etc.. As mentioned, I reckon this is Frank flexing his muscles with his new BT budget. Calculated risk by Hearn, but I would say it's because he doubts Warrington can go much further. Something I'm inclined to agree with. Very good fighter but I think lacks an ingredient or two (e.g. power) to beat the best. I think Eddie has made it clear he will only pay the really big money to the guys who will clearly be mixing it at world level.
