Both McGregor and Diaz wouldn't make it beyond the circuit level.

The thing is conor and nate wont be fighting boxing welterweights if they choose to start boxing. UFC and boxing weight classes are VERY different...

There weight class is as follows
    UFC
    straweight 115
    Flyweight 125
    Bantamweight 135
    Featherweight 145
    Lightweight 155
    Welterweight 170
    Middleweight 185
    Light heavyweight 205
    Heavyweight 265

Conor and diaz fight at 170

Thats super middleish light heavyweight territory in boxing... theyll get blasted out in 4 rounds by the bottom 10 of each division

Would be fun if they did Mcgregor vs Diaz 3 in a ring and kept 60-40% of all revenue (UFC take nearly all)

Even Paulie as he is now would light Conor up with ease in a boxing ring under boxing rules.

Conor only went to 170 for the diaz fight. Before that he fought at 145. After that he moved up to 155 which is where he is now. I don't even watch MMA and I know that.

Different sport. He won't go far, plus he is getting old.

No doubt...i kno there fight was @170 and mma weight classes are different. ..in boxing i kno they matter significantly...the fact that he moved up to fight nate might suggest he cant make 145..or 155 anymore...if he can.. props to the notorious one. Hope both nate and conor translate well in the boxing ring

He thinks this angle is going to make him more money. This is all just a game to maximize earning potential. Diaz saw how McGregor is cashing in being essentially a one trick pony and he wants in.

he has tough chin but when he finds out how diminished his power with boxing gloves, his confidence will plummet he will need to train for more boxing skills

He would likely be fighting at 160 maybe 154. I cant think of a single top guy that wouldnt destroy him. Anyone from the Charlos to GGG and everyone in between would eat him up. I dont even think he`d beat Paul Smith or Edwin Rodriguez ffs!
