Most Overrated Fighters Currently

I agree with Lara. People tend to describe him as a superior boxer with good defence but his performances against Molina, Vanes and Angulo are damning evidence to the contrary.

The fans might think Lara is overrated but the fighters don't think so.
Ask Andrade, canelo, trout, charlos, and Williams what they think.
Williams will fight Lara after his coming out party next week.

 

Porter got caught plenty of times coming in. I had the fight 115-113 just like the judges so don't try making it sound like it wasn't a close fight.

Maybe we should ask ducky Garcia if he thinks postol is overrated. He has a tough style for anyone other then the best fighter in the game today(tcraw)
Lara and rigo suffer the same fate. They are too good for they're own good. They aren't a big draw and present a major style matchup problem for any fighter.
Degale is so so. Expect him to beat jack but I think zurdo would get him. I think degale has skill he just doesn't fight smart.

 

Porter out boxed Thurman from the outside and borderline mauled him on the inside. Landing a few bombs doesn't win a fight. Thurman left his jab in the locker room and looked like an amatuer of 10 fights up on the ropes, standing tall, feet squared flailing.
People said kov ward was a robbery. That fight was a lot closer then porter thurman

 

There some hyped up fighters but most get credit they deserve

Any fighter can be overrated, Lomachenko and GGG are my favorite fighters, but when i see threads like "GGG would win against any middleweight ever" or "Lomachenko legacy is better than Mayweather's because he fought a champion on his second fight", i kinda understand why people hates them, i hate fanboys.
But if there is a fighter that is overrated by almost every portion of the boxing world, is Canelo: The guy is a good fighter, i like him, he is solid, fast, strong, with good combinations, nice hand speed, good defense, a good counterpuncher and is always learning, but when i see people calling him "the future of boxing/the next superstar/the face of the sport" i just can't get it.

GGG! Gets all this hype, and often gets looked at as the P4P best in boxing by his Goons, and yet not 1 notable name on his resume. Do I have to say more?

 

Yea gotta be Trippa G...the man has yet to fight a live body around his weight...not saying he isn't good im just saying look who he has looked good against.
