If these guys (Conor and Nate) decide to step in the boxing ring against any level of legit contenders the mma fanboys are going to be in for a rude awakening. These guys are going to get embarrassed and sent back to the octogon with their tails between their legs. These guys seriously think they are ready to compete at a championship level in boxing and theyre going to find out real quick there are levels to this.

 

Actually, it's the other way around. In boxing, you have 10 seconds to get up. In MMA, no one can save you, if you are hurt, you are in serious trouble. Nate wasn't really hurt or Conor would have gone for a finish. It's true that Conor doesn't like to go to the ground, but if your opponent is really hurt, it's best to try and finish him.

His brother is the one that can box,ever see Nick Diaz when he gets his opponents on the ropes or side of the octagon,the way he unleashes to the head and body I always thought to be impressive.

Conor has campaigned primarily at Featherweight and Lightweight. He is NOT a Welterweight. He fought Diaz on short notice at WW and opted to have the rematch there as well. But he is NOT a 170 lb fighter. As a boxer he would compete at Welterweight-Middleweight. Not SMW or LHW. He could be insane to.... Even at a much lower level. Diaz on the other hand did have a lengthy run at 170... So I could definitely see him competing at JMW-SMW but definitely not LHW. Either way... Neither would go far as boxers.

 

George Groves would knock him spark out in my opinion as would any decent SMW out there and seeing how he Dickson isn't great at the minute that says a lot about how I rate him.

 

McGregor is a very basic level boxer. A local area level amateur is what he was when he boxed. Nothing more. Any good boxer would murder him or Diaz. Diaz hasn't a clue how to box.

 

I'd take a 160 Lee to easily KO a 170 Diaz.

 

Yeah but that was a strange en based on Diaz not having time to cut weight,both guys are 155 pounders which is still a step to far as it would put em at middleweight or the famed Canelo weight lol

You know what makes me laugh about Diaz is when he does a work out for the fans and he shadow boxes real nice and you think that's not bad until he gets in the fight and all that shadow boxing just goes to pot lol
