If McGregor gets destroyed by boxer-jorneyman, would you be surprised?

IF he has any boxing matches before a huge cash in I think they will be the type of opponents Kimbo Slice was feasting on. If he wants to build a record it won't be too difficult to do.

 

Its more the rules he would have to adjust to . His striking is good but pro boxing has different mechanics . Cant see a McGregor /Mayweather type match more than publicity stunt for $ if it took place. Im not sure he beats Mayweather Sr. tbh.

 

Don't tell that to these MMA fans. Some of them think McGregor has a legitimate chance.

 

if he fought mayweather it would only be fair to have hybrid rules. No takedowns/grappling but allow kicks or something like that. there is absolutely no point having an mma guy fight a world champion boxer with complete boxing rules.

 

As much as I would be surprised by a world level boxer getting his ass handed to him by a mediocre MMA fighter.
The sports are very different.

Floyd vs McG would be a joke in either sport.

 

Im more into MMA , i only follow certain weight classes in boxing but even i have 3x the boxing skills he does and pose much bigger k.o power . McGregor would get to mid level rank 50 and up guys .,he wouldn't have a successful record if he fights true skill.

I don't have a MMA record did have a boxing /MMa license in 2002 ,before injury..i did amateur events under different rules...I have helped and fought some pro boxers at the gym..would love to get a MMa fight never the less ,tied a kid who won north eastern grappling in P.A grappling in a weeks notice last summer...
