So are you purposely side stepping the vid i posted up top ? lol Yea i would too if i were you because not only is it CLEAR ,it has a time i provided as well where he stumbles froma punch ,yet will deny it anyway ,we BOTH know that . You poor man, you have to be the most desperate poster ive ever encountered where you actually posted the same old grainy video AFTER i called you out on the one i posted and asked me for evidence what i claimed, again how clever of you ( not really ) because at the 1:10 mark it shows Dempsey staggering back from a punch ,you and your 2 little friends can side with you as well, from what i see their credibility isnt much ! LOL P.S this is another L for you!
Here's what you said: Do you deny this? I have quoted it twice now btw. Also, provide a quote where I say Lewis would be better if he was 6'. I DID say he would be better at that height against Dempsey but only if he has the 84" reach. Either way Lewis would get knocked out by Dempsey, he may last a little longer than the 6'5 version because he is a smaller target. That is my reasoning. Against other non-giant slayers, 6'5 Lewis is better.
I put up 2 different videos, one by ,"rsmorodinov ",the other by "sports legends x111,"and I invited you to put up one of your choosing,if you weren't happy with either of them. The one you posted does not show Dempsey rocked and hanging on to clear his head in the 1st round and neither Dempsey or Carpentier mention such an incident in their respective auto biographies. You state that Carpentier was winning the fight until he was ko'd ,yet he himself said he knew in the 3 rd he was beaten. How can this be, who should we believe Carpentier himself or Gaviscon, a green nobody? Toughie!lol It's a mystery to me why you are so arrogantly condescending and pompous because you are one of the most profoundly ignorant posters this forum has so far suffered!
As stated the vid shows EXACTLY what i said ,you were already proven wrong with other things and even called 2 Links i provided B.S because you do not want to be wrong. The problem is attacking me will not go good for you EVER ,so if you dont wish to be ridiculed advice is avoid me bc i'll continue the schooling if thats what you want ,so take that as you you like ,i really don't care . Im obviously arguing with a non logical person ,who thinks 30 is to old to be a top guy in todays era so that shows how out of touch with reality you actually are !
Sorry but im done with this trash ..lol. You clearly said Lewis would be harder to hit if he was shorter, you have noclue about fight mechanics you really don't , you brought Dempsey into the mix with some sort of illogical reasoning to support your view when you were told how far fetched it was ,like an insane person you still stand by it which exposes your IQ. Why would i deny my quotes unlike you my quotes are realistic ,the opening bell usually refers to the first minute of a fight so im wrong by 10 seconds...WOW you really got me there . lol
Haha run and hide like you always do. I said Lewis would be harder to hit for Dempsey at 6' with an 84" reach than 6'5" with an 84" reach. It is 100% true. A short fighter with a long reach is harder to hit than a big fighter with the same reach. You can't explain any of your claims, instead you just name call and say "Im done". Coward... The opening bell does NOT refer to the first minute of a fight lmao it refers to the first 10 seconds at best. I would like to see you find knowledgeable people who will agree with you. Just try.
So just Dempsey ????? lol And NO , Dempsey does not do better with 6'5 Lewis oppossed to 6'0 Lewis . Hiding from what . Your boxing IQ is as bad as ive ever seen, maybe McVey will agree with you though he sound on par with you . lol
Since boxing is a subject that has to be evaluated on a case by case basis then yes just Dempsey for now. Again for what seems like the millionth time, provide evidence that Dempsey would not do better. Dempsey feasted upon super heavies like Lewis. He knocked out Willard in the first (had the bell been on time), Fulton in the first, and Morris in the first. Doesn't matter how much perceived skill you think Lewis has, he would get lucky to make it out of the first against Dempsey. Dempsey perfected the bob and weave which is a tall fighters Achilles heel.
I think 30 is maybe too old to be beginning not to be already a top guy, pity your reading abilty is so below par.. Avoid you? No way! I'm going to rip you to bits at every opportunity ,the only problem is I'll have to get in a very long queue to do so!
Izu is not BEGINNING his career, and even so 35 is the norm for prime now, this isn't the 1950's. You only ripped yourself with this one and continue to let nothing but hot air out my friend! you're going to take me piece by piece aye??? You TRIED arguing video EVIDANCE provided? lol....
I'm not, and never will be your friend ,and judging from the responses to your posts friends for you are in short supply here! The 50's saw a 37 years old heavyweight champion , a 39 years old light-heavyweight champion, and a 36 years old middleweight champion.Numb Nuts! I've a feeling you are not going to be with us long so Ill get as much stick into you as I can before you're banned.
To use Dempsey's own article on the fight printed in many papers on July 3rd, the day after the fight... the only punch he mentions receiving is in Round 2. "The jab to the chin I got in the second round spun me for a moment. I was sidestepping a the time and lost my balance. Carpentier didn't have me worried at any time in the 3 1/2 rounds."
It does show a pretty good right hand and decent short (very short period) for carpentier but not even the all time greats can go without getting tagged by a single shot. It certainly didnt slow Dempsey down or put him in any trouble.
