Marciano's Body Frame could easily be Tua and Tyson

I've been going to the gym for over 20 years, and I've competed in powerlifting, trained with world class lifters and competitive amateur bodybuilders.
I have real knowledge of steroids, though never take them myself.

If you think "500 to 800" is a "few" dips, then you're clearly in your own league.

 

I think that is what some of us are claiming, but apparently Marciano fans are saying this is either

1. Not the case.

or

2. Not relevant anyway.

I live in Communidad De Andalucia, Almeria province. Come anytime you like, but never confuse me with McVey who comes from Kent, and is what is known as a " stand up guy " who would meet anyone at an airport and " sraighten " them.

I am a horrible k**t who lures people to the campo ( countryside ) where I live, and takes machetes, or baseball bats to them at the very least, and leaves them to find their own way to hospital, or fukking die, I don't ,much care either way.

3 years ago a pal of mine from Bethnal Green who lives in Alicante province ( where I lived when I first moved out here ) had problems with Northern muppets like you. Not content with dealing from their garage, they were those typical smelly dirty Northerners, that had something stupid like " Tuff Boyz " emblazoned on their biker jackets, they decided they would deal from his bar. He took exception to this so a few of them gave him a good hiding.

So 4 of us went up there and introduced them to baseball bats, and burned them out. The funny part was as we torched the place they didn't even attempt to rescue the bikes or the parts, they were scurrying about rescuing their bags of sh it.

Funnily enough they didn't want either anymore problems, or police involvement. Can't for the life of me think why.:rofl:rofl

 

For Rocky to weigh a muscular 215, which was roughly Tyson's fighting weight and a bit on the light side for Tua, he would have had to gain 30 lbs.
That is an incredible amount of lean muscle tissue (especially for a short guy) and he would look like an entirely different person.
As an amateur he competed at around the 200 lbs. mark where he was noted as looking "soft."
With modern nutrition and such, 205 or thereabouts would surely be about as much as he could carry without totally losing the great stamina and workrate he was known for.
Even that may be a bit too much.

Yes I agree with all of this. It's neither hear no there if Tua or Tyson were slightly bigger boned or naturally more muscular. Without xray we cannot study bones. Its difficult to assess what is natural because what was natural in one era is another kind of natural in another.

I still think Orlin Norris is the key to discovering what was achievable with the same height and wingspan as Tua, marciano and Tyson. He turned pro just 2lb different to Tua at the same age and orlins weight throughout his heavyweight career was comparable to Tua yet when oppertunties dried up for him Norris dropped to 187-190 to campaign on a successful cruiser career before returning to heavyweight fringe world class. How does one explain or assess Orlin Norris' natural musculature and bones and no apparent sacrifice in flexibility, speed or pace at either weight class?

 

Beats me. I would be reluctant, without a lot more hard data, to make too close a comparison to Norris and Rocky in an effort to find some form of common ground.
Besides similar measurements, what else did they have in common?

 

Come forward style. Low crouching. Looping Over hand right. Left hook. Bob and weave.

Rocky had more power pace and durability.

Well he certainly had "issues".
How he expected anyone to believe his tales of conquests is beyond me.
You're obviously a man of the cobbles and we both know the genuinely tough guys don't use those tactics.
Having said that, after reading some of the pigswill the usual suspects have posted in this thread, i can say, hand on heart, if i was to debate face to face with them, i would end up hurting them, wether they bulked up to 215 or not, lol.
