Peter quit due to a arm injry, the fight itself was one sided with Pulev hitting Peter easily and overall it was a good performance by Pulev

Hardly surprising. Pulev is decent but he's no Vitali or Wladimir.

Peter's career was over after he got destroyed by Helenius.
Pulev was decent, but nothing more then that. He would lose to the young guys (Wilder/Joshua/Parker).

A prime Peter would go life and death with Pulev, maybe even KO him.

too bad I still remember one of the first times I saw Peter when he had the brutal left hook knockout of Jeremy Williams.

You make it sound as if he were fighting one fat guy after another! Pulev's fight record is better than Wilder's one.Besides it was his first fight in front of his compatriots on Bulgarian soil.Good matchmaking IMO.Peter still has a known name, and nodoby outside his closed circle knew before whether he travelled to Bulgaria to just collect a last paycheck and give it a serious try.Arias is proably far better than Peter at this stage of their careers but nobody cared a fig for Pulev's victory over the old and cagey Brazilian vet whereas Pulevs victory over that fat African made some noise all over the world.Very good matchmaking IMO!!!!
