He's just so unprofessional, was nowhere near fit enough. His corner is a joke too, telling him what he wants to hear instead of how it is. Having Fury there too just shows what a deluded bubble these pair live in. They aren't that good.

 

The thing is I think they are both pretty good. But both are a million miles away from having the sort of attitude a champion boxer should have.

Imagine if Billy Joe conditioned himself like Eubank Jr. Or if Fury conditioned himself like the Klitschkos...

 

Worst I've seen him box, he's FAR better than that.

Whatever has happened with him and Tibbs, he needs to get it sorted or if things are that bad he needs to get someone like Adam Booth on board. Whoever that was in his corner tonight was shocking.

Based on that performance, GGG and Canelo would leave him looking like a teabag, far far better than that and he will need to be to get in with either of those two.

At least he was honest in his post-fight interview, fair play to him. Hopefully this will give him a kick up the arse, because if he wants to stay world champ and come out on top in these big fights he's talking about, he needs to get his act together and start living the life.

 

When has Fury ever struggled to go the distance? He might not be body beautiful, but for a big man he's light on his feet and pisses the 12 rounds.

 

Yep. BJS has always been a LMW, and it shows. He's been professional in his whole career once against Eubank - and he still gassed halfway through!

He was awful tonight. I think BJS is a good boxer but he's not world level imo. He gasses way too easily and doesn't seem that motivated. Put him in with any top middleweight like Golovkin, Lemieux or Jacobs he will get beat easily. I even think Eubank jr would beat him at this point.

 

It's much harder to life the proper life when you're away from the ring. There's much less motivation, you end up eating more and partying when otherwise you might have been training for upcoming fights etc, fighters get out of shape. The best bet to getting into fighting shape is to stay there by being active.

 

He was poor tonight but that's a year out the game. He needs another couple of tune ups before he thinks about fighting a top quality fighter.

He's a class act and with the right motivation, he'll put in a performance.

I've seen nothing from Eubank Jn to suggest that there'd be a different outcome if they met again. He's beat up a few domestic level fighters but still gets caught too much.

 

So a couple more tune ups continuing to hold the belt hostage. It's ridiculous. His world champion and should be defending his title vs top challengers not more tune ups.

 

He just doesn't live the life of a professional athlete and it's time somebody told him some home truths regarding this.

Despite being out of the ring for so long FW gave him a gimme opponent who he should of looked spectacular against but he struggled and was lucky to get away with the decision.

Saunders needs to stay active or he'll have a short time at the top.
