Fighting Wilder in the U.S. is the obvious way of course, but talking about manners ...

There are basically two ways to get a profile: trash-talk, or be the 'good guy' who everyone likes. the first is easier of course, but not all fighters have that personality.

Parker is a genuinely nice, decent, guy. He's the sort of guy casuals would cheer for if he were to fight the bad boy of the division. Sort of like how most casuals wanted Pac to beat Floyd (a women-beater who purposely
became the loathable Money Mayweather instead of the 'good' Pretty Boy Floyd), even though most knowledgeable people didn't think he had much of a chance.

The thing is, there is no such person in the HW division.

AJ and Wilder are both trying to be good guys too. Fury is a little crazy, but he's out of the picture for the moment and honestly isn't truly malicious - just mentally unhinged imo.

Wilder choked out a call girl while cheating on his spouse and spending $$$ he could have been using to get better treatment for his sick daughter.
The call girl performed extras. She sought just due compensation and Wilder denied her so she grabbed his 2K watch to settle up.
Wilder grabbed her by the throat, choke slammed her, then calmly signed a 100K check to her soas to avoid prison and a 10 million dollar assault and unlawful imprisonment charge.

Just cause he's spent the past 32 months ducking his mandatory and trying his best to be Mr Nice Guy doesnt erase his women beating, adulterous, child neglecting tendencies.

Sadly, Parker would spark him in less than a handful of rds, thus ruining the hope of the good guy vs bad guy fight before it could get hyped up.

If Ruiz is remotely competitive you can sign, seal and deliver that trainer of the year to Abel sanchez.

Ignoring his figure - looking at the calibre of his fight record and how hard he's had to dig to beat some of those guys is enough to call Ruiz the B-side in this fight. People bring Takam up as a low point for Parker, Takam is the only guy in Parker's career who has taken a round from him and he would beat every dude on Ruiz's record - convincingly.

One last time for those who haven't been paying attention. In 2013 when Parker was completely green Ruiz got the better of him and cut the inside of his mouth with a good shot. They had 3 sparring camps together, that was the 1st of 3 - the most recent one Team Ruiz don't seem to bring anything up about as from the accounts I've heard they don't have so much to brag about. This is a bit like Price beating up Joshua when Joshua was the same age and experience level, except Parker got the opportunity to turn the tables in a later session and did so - granted now Ruiz is now only coming in obese, as opposed to morbidly obese.

Much more content with this. A lot has changed over time and saying either one is going to walk in and spark the other out without trying is just silly.

Same can be said about Andy, that he was extremely obese when he beat up Parker

Anyway I like both fighters, 50/50 for me. But riding with Ruiz

Just watched the Documentary, Parker is a humble dude

That's exactly what I was saying, except that Ruiz was still massively obese when Parker later beat Ruiz up - it'll be a different deal again now Ruiz is just obese and both guys have obviously done heaps more growing since. This is what makes for an exciting fight, there is history and Parker has been been on a steady improve since then - and now Ruiz has started working on improvement too.

More or less agreed with all of that, both guys seem straight up guys and good fighters - there is no one that I want to see fail, but on my side I want to see Parker win and feel its more of a 60-40 in his favour.

I think early KO is Ruiz's only chance but I am picking Parker to stop Ruiz before the 10th.
