Could Marciano make 168lbs if he turned pro today?

    It's hard to be sure of course, but I suspect that when it comes to eating, Toney has Marciano beat. He was able to cut weight.

    I don't think Marciano would have been as successful at this as Toney tbh......Rocky probably thought that he sacrificed enough.

    But that's the point - he'd be asked to sacrifice considerably less. People are assuming he would be doing his 1950s training. He wouldn't be doing that.

    No. He could not. Mayne he could make 175, but it would drain him a little

    Yeah, a very little. Three pounds. Cholonic irrigation alone would probably bin off a good deal more.

    There is a bit more than 3 pounds from 168 to 175.

    Their weigh ins were on the day back then so the ring weight was pretty much the weigh in weight.

    That's what I mean by the difference in weights from rehydration.

    I am not for one second buying that Marciano and Froch are the same size.
