It wouldn't say it was all that lucky, Chris. You could see Indongo shoot to the body early on at least two occasions, obviously with the intent of bringing down his foe's guard and getting him to focus on protecting that area. Doing that helped to make that left hand counter all the more effective. I mean, I don't think he necessarily expected to strike the jackpot so quickly, but he came in with a game plan and as it turned out he executed it to perfection.
Troyanovsky was looked at by some to have a shot at beating him, but not by me!! I thought it would be a tougher fight than Burns, but easily winnable fight for Crawford that he would have to take to become the undisputed champ at 140. If I were Crawford I'd take the undisputed route, right now!
Dan Rafael said that Troyanovsky turned down 425,000 to face Crawford this weekend when he opted for Indingo instead. I don't know how much he just made for getting knocked out by a completely unknown fighter, unless it was a lot more than the HBO offer he made a really bad choice here.
