Great fight! Hatton was doing pretty good early, bullying May around. May then broke him down and knocked him out.

    Classic.

Great fight and an underrated performance by PBF. He beat Ricky at his own game and broke him down.

PBF beat Hatton at his own game and broke him down it's an underrated clinic if anything. Not every fight is some sort of fix, you need to stop thinking like that.

This was actually one of FLoyd's best fights in general. He absolutely didn't have to employ the style he did against Hatton- he essentially beat Ricky at his own game. He showed he was clearly the better inside fighter and had no problems with Hatton's rough house tactics as Mayweather did the same himself.

He could've easily boxed him from a distance and fought primarily as a pot-shot counterpuncher in that fight, but he decided to give the fans an action-friendly match which ended in a beautiful KO with a left check hook into the turnbuckle.

That performance was right up there with his fights with Mosley and Alvarez as his best performances since becoming a PPV star in May of 2007 (after his mediocre performance with DLH.) Great fight between two top 10 P4P and undefeated fighters.

Very interesting analysis. I'd advise you to watch rounds 8 and 9 over as Floyd was starting to pummel him from pillar to post during those rounds.

Hatton wasn't beating the brakes off of anything. It was probably a big shot to his ego that Mayweather decided to engage Hatton in a manner I'm sure Ricky didn't expect. Floyd beat the brakes off Hatton using Ricky's own style. Now that's insult to injury.

Hatton was beaten before he left his dressingroom Cortez & Vegas boxing made sure of that. Argue any of my points about Cortez bias you cannot & you know it. When Cortez retired Kenny Bayless donned the mantle of Mother Hen protecting her Chick Mayweather. It was BLATANT!!!!!!!!!!

Name me one Mayweather fight in Vegas that was 100% on the level & not have Mayweather getting every advantage in it. Tony Wilkes called Maidana 1 straight down the middle but the judges looked after Floyd
Tony never got appointed another Mayweather fight did he ? Noooooooo Bayless only

Just stop with your conspiracy theories. What exactly are you trying to prove by stating the same thing OVER AND OVER AGAIN for years. Is there something wrong with you on a mental level? Everyone on here knows your disposition already- you're a conspiracy theorist who obviously has much hatred for specific fighters for whatever reason.

I'm going to debunk your inane theory very quickly here- so stay with me and try not to go on one your ridiculous tangents- Oscar was awarded a 7-5 scorecard against Floyd and Canelo ALvarez somehow magically won 6 rounds on CJ Ross' scorecard.

Care to explain what happened in those two fights Mr National Inquirer?

You're always full of conspiracy theories though Ike didn't **** that prostitute, Margo was set up by the CSAC, PBF pays off the judges and the commissions Ward paid off the judges. When will it end?
