Once Whyte started cryptically saying he was going to 'get' Chisora after the fight then that's it, a line has been crossed in a big, big way and anything goes. What is Chisora supposed to think? Is he just threatening him? Is he threatening his family? The bloke has kids for a start, so at that point he was entitled to stick a glass in his throat, never mind throw a table.

Agree but seems like he's gotten away without anything. Talking about getting Chisora after the fight etc crossed a line.

Hope they tallied it up and added the cost of the table right at the bottom of the bill, along with the administration fees or whatever else was used to get to £5000.

They should have suspended the fine on the condition Del Boy shows the same level of aggression in the ring...

I don't know which is worse, the pantomime of the prezzer, or the farce that is the BBBoC taking the moral high ground over this...

There are different rules for Eddie's fighters to everyone else's then. I don't think any warm blooded man would let Whyte threaten them like that and not say anything. Dillian knew he was wrong which was why he didn't carry it on and tried to backtrack afterwards. He needs to decide whether or not he wants to be a boxer or a gangster. It's that simple.

so you think he should try and kill him for saying he was "gonna see him after the fight", that has many connotations we don't know what he meant, and besides what about the shotgun video that Chisora sent? how's he supposed to react

The £5,000 covers the BBBoC lunch bill at The Savoy...

Make what you like of Whytes so called provocative comments, but Chisora has trouble and controversy follow him around like a bad smell.

Typical bully being fed his own medicine, and couldn't handle it.

They're not 'so called' anything they were obvious threats. Chisora's past behaviour doesn't change anything about that. And Whyte is hardly an angel himself. Look at him and his entourage's past behaviour before trying to justify his conduct.

This isn't a defence or condemnation of either fighter. It's just how I see it. Both overstep the mark here and there and so none of this came as a surprise to me.

I wonder if he will get a spanking when he gets home for blowing 30,000 quid?

Mark Tibbs? Set the tone with a aggressive rant at Chisora, threw something at Chisora after he flipped the table, screaming and shouting obscenities and a couple of threats.

I'm glad the BBBofC got involved and have acted quickly but it seems a little one sided to just fine Chisora all things considered.

Also £5000 costs? For flipping what looked like to me a dodgy little wallpaper pasting table.

Agree, should definitely be fined or at least warned too. I feel that the BBBoC have it in for Del after the whole Luxembourg ****.

The costs are of their meeting about the incident which is evening more laughable.

And you're right Tibbs made a complete fool of himself losing it like that over very little. Most boxing trainers do tend to be tits though. I've not met many who do think they're it whilst asking in the glory of their charges.

I think I'd go for Buddy McGirt if I were a top fighter simply because he seems like a decent bloke who knows how to conduct himself.

Careful mate, he might see you joking about his conviction and decide to physically shoot you. I'd also worry he might metaphorically or lyrically shoot me if I were you. He's a crazy guy.
