Yeah some GGG fanboys are too much. Every big name boxer has them. With the Jacobs fiasco, if this fight falls through it's time to move up. Got a feeling Degale wins his fight. If Degale wins there's a great fight for GGG. If he doesn't take that fight I'll be done with Golovkin

No I was not aware of that, I haven't been around here for a year or two, so I missed a lot of that ****. I wonder what they would think of me, a white dude who doesn't think GGG is the be all end all :tiburon:

No, I did not find out Jacobs won until later that night. You see; when Jacobs got dropped hard and subsequently put on ***** street by the lightest hitting MW around, I blacked out from laughing so hard that when I finally awoke the fight had been over for hours.

golovkin is coming dangerously close to becoming a laugh stock...and thats a shame for a fighter that could be really good to great....its too bad some people make every excuse under the sun for him...and point the finger in any other direction...they even think 10 mil isnt good enough to fight canelo

The Canelo situation, as far as I know, a flat fee is a fools take. The upside on that fight can be tremendous. Canelo vs smith was 250k buys. Canelo GGG can easily break 1 million. But I'm not even gonna care about that fight til it's announced.

I want to see GGG fight a good fighter before he ages and is quickly forgotten.

it could break a million...or it could do 800-900k which is still very good.....but he has to realize that if 10 mil is what its gonna take its still a fair offer and he needs the fight.....he needs the fight more than canelo....thats just reality

canelo took a 5 mil guarantee with ppv upside for his fight against cotto(which i feel did similar to what ggg/canelo would do)....that 10 mil has gggs guarantee plus ppv upside already in it....only thing ggg could do is say "ill take that but if it does X amount of buys i want ppv upside kickers"....like say it does hit a million he could get some more money.....but that 10 mil has ppv built in already....its a fair deal......

if yer golovkin....are you gonna take what canelo offers you, which is fair, and get the fight in september of 2017? or you gonna play around and let him fight cotto in september and possibly have to wait another year/year and a half with your peen in your hand fighting jorge heilands of the world?

If it's the final offer, with no other offer period, then yes you take the 10 million. But only if there's no other offer. To accept right now is premature. And this of course is assuming that what Oscar is saying is true. As of late honesty hasn't been his virtue.

I'm not sure, but you might be ******ed or slow. You might want to get yourself examined.

I get it, people are ducking Golovkin, I agree. It's clear what he needs to do now though; concede to someone's demands SOME, not entirely. Unless this stalling tactic is to get it to purse bids on purpose and it somehow benefits Jacobs... I'd like to know what the hold up is exactly.

    Nice screenname!

You must have several qualified mental health professionals in your family. Can you recommend me to one, possible even set me up with a discount?

Im not really one of those guys.
I'm all about who they won the title from, and the quality of the career the opponents have/had.
For instance, while I consider the WBA title bogus, there are several quality WBA titlists/former that are worthy of such distinction, even some of the interim titlists are top tier IMO.
Valuev, Haye, Potvetkin, Chagaev, Browne, Ortiz.....and that's just recently at HW.
Brahmer and Cleverly are/were quality titlists holding the WBA title.
Jacobs is very high quality IMO.
Allahverdiev was a solid WBA minor titlist, and Smith and Eubank Jr very high quality interim holders.
Broner was/is a solid titlist type. I consider him an elite fighter. Sad that his ego has gotten in the way of his career.

I might shiit on a fighter for winning a vacant title vs a journeyman, but if he goes on to defend it vs the top guys I end up a fan.

It's about trying to fight the best and not ducking. A titlist who ducks his mandatories or swerves unifications, usually a puto.
