Not even possible it did not impact him in one manner or another.

Loss of sensation in the feet, legs, and higher blood temperature feeding the muscles causing cell dehydration.
Also would have been suffering many a feverish evening and lethargic morning, woulda popped a few asprinin, tylenol, brake the low grade fever then on the road.
Would have also had at least minimal restriction to upper body movement, thinking it was just muscle tightness or a tough sparring session maybe. Ate a couple naproxens or ibuprofens (also curbing the low grade fever) and got a massage.

Not saying he looked less than his best in the fight, cause he was up against it regardless.

But there is simply no way he was 100% that night. He might have been 90%, which is still the same guy who could out box or blast out more than a few of the top 20s at that time.

Jacobs took food out of GGG's families mouths by extending this agonizingly banal process. His intentional actions cost Golovkin a December pay check. Jacobs and his team should be charged with criminal collusion.

Perhaps rorschach51 can recommend a good lawyer?

I think they took that tumor out of Jacogs spine and put it directly in rorschach51's brain.

It is in Jacob's interest to take the fight sooner than later , with this type of cancer you don't really ever get rid of it 100% , it comes back one day . Take the fight , make some money , live life while you can .

Naw, they put it on my dads esophagus. And the *******s didn't even say anything about doing it so the docs didn't catch it until it was already at stage 4. Far as I know I don't have any tumors yet.

I hate lawyers, don't know a single one personally. I'm sure you have needed your fair share of attorneys in your time though, perhaps recommend one yourself.

I do not know if you are serious; this is all just having some fun talkin' crap on a message board but if you did lose your dad from esophageal cancer then you have my condolences. It's rough losing a loved one and sort of puts stuff like sports into perspective.

I'm hoping he sticks to a division long enough to either defend the belts or unify. I don't like division hopping title hunters.

    Let's be patient.

Latest news from Canelo's team was that Canelo-GGG should be happening in September. I can only suppose that there is some rough agreement or coming closer about the money split behind the scenes.

u want to be patient? with a 35 year old with 0 good fights on his resume? ....a guy that's stepped aside and waited long enough already?

god bless you...you have a lot more patience than myself and most of the rest of the boxing world

what if cotto does decent numbers against Kirkland and wins impressively? and canelo decides a rematch with cotto is a good look for September?

I'm assuming that K2 is going to go for the 75/25 split, and rightfully so.

I like Jacobs as a fighter and obviously as a person (you have to admire someone of his background being able to become a champion,) but he's the B-side fighter in this one.

He has to go in with the mentality to take the short end of the money with the belief he'll make that back in a rematch after he beats Gennady. I personally think GGG knocks him out inside 8 rounds, but Jacobs is definitely a live dog with very good pop to his punches. If he fights the fight of his life and Gennady continues to show signs of aging, who knows how this one can go.
