It matters to me. If he shows up in top flight condition physically and mentally, and ready to rumble then maybe his glass jaw won't get tested, plus he stands a chance of testing a chin himself. If he shows up like the hamburger that got in with Canelo then the fight is not worth watching for me. Maybe for the people that like to see one sided beat downs.

Cotto is the smarter fighter. Kirkland is the stronger puncher. Cotto has better defense. Both of their mandibles are made out of some type of glass. Both men having lost their last fights to Canelo.

This will only be worth watching if Cotto decides to attempt KO Kirkland.

No one is going to pay to see Kirkland get his brains bashed in again.

Yes but with Ann Wolfe in his corner, he's undefeated. That being said cotto would face a more dangerous Kirkland

I don't get it, at least guys like Zab and Bute had/have some name value to keep cashing in on. Kirkland was fun to watch and all, but he was never that kind of draw even before the decline.

Both guys' last fight was a loss to Canelo. Maybe that's the secret to PPV success lol.

I'm not falling for that ****. That's the angle they'll try and sell. Kirkland is done it doesn't matter if futch was training him he's getting stopped.

Where the fk are they finding Kirkland anyways. I know it ain't at no training facility. He must be standing by the freeway with a sign that says, James Kirkland and I will take an ass whooping for food, Add a couple dollars and a knock out is fine.
