How does he go against Barrera, Morales and Marquez?

The fight is 126-130 of course.

There is no doubt about it.

Mexicans always gives anybody problems in the ring! They are usually brutal WARS! guerra! Loma has never been in one yet.But will we ever get to see him in with a Mexican ATG? when there is none. Past prime Salido already whooped him.

As crazy as it sounds I'd pick loma to beat all of them. Watch the racists not question me, but disagree and get all upset when I try and say that a black fighter can beat some past greats :risas3:.

Beats them all, and reasonably wide in all honesty.

To be fair, Loma is probably slightly bigger than 3 of them, with a small exception maybe Marquez

Prime versions of those guys the fights are toss ups. Loma is fantastic but those guys are all highly skilled warriors.

Beats them all. But, JMM I think causes him the most trouble with his superb counter punching skills. I look at that fight as 50/50 at 130 pounds.

Very interesting topic. I think his toughest fights would be against Morales and Barrera, but could either man be considered prime at the 126-130 lb weight classes? I think they were more in their primes around super bantamweight.

I think he's too slick for Marquez although as drenlou said, with JMM's superb timing and counterpunching he could absolutely make it a good one if his counterpunches found a home.

The interesting one for me is Morales due to his height (2 inches) and reach (about 7 inches) advantages over Vasyl. Erik in his prime was arguably one of the 2 or 3 top P4P fighters in the world, had excellent technical ability and could bang with the best of them.

They'd all be great fights. But for me, I thought Morales and Barrera were in their primes at 122 lbs while interestingly enough I thought JMM was at his best at 135 lbs (in his early to mid 30's.)

Depends on the day, Lomachenko loses to any Mexican in cinco de Mayo.

In five years Lomachenko's resume will be legendary. Head to head the maestro outboxes them all.

Loma would sent the Mexs back over the border. I think he can beat all three consecutive in one night. With the help of Memo it might be some interesting fights.
