Rocky Marciano discusses a fight between prime Dempsey or Louis. As well as talks of a comeback.

Amazing interview, never seen it before.
It's intimidating when he mentions that he would've been the toughest opponent for Dempsey and prime Louis. And he's right!

    Great stuff, Reason!

    1) How can anybody not like "The Rock"? Seem's like a true, classy gent.
    2) $1.25 Million in his day? Man, you could have done some serious things with that dough back then.

He makes a subtle shift from a very intentional, well-thought pace of speech to getting a cold fire brewing in his words when he talks about fighting Dempsey and Louis and later when he responds to the question of Louis' tax situation. I don't think you would want to hear that tone directed at yourself.

Yes he does ,his fighters juices probably started flowing, modest in public, he probably privately thought as most fighters do , that he would beat the best of his division when he was prime, its part and parcel of a warriors make up.

Of course. A lot of people have this image of a nice guy. But I remember him most for his mean grimace eating Archie Moores punches, and coming back with his own.

His nose looked pretty good and straight for a guy who had it busted up real bad
    vs Ezzard Charles. And others.

He was absolutely right when he said there should be more local, small, boxing gyms.
The absence of same is what's hurting (killing?) boxing in the USA.

Nice find on this channel btw Reason.

I found another vid of Marciano weighing in for Charles. Does anyone else notice that he looks kinda shocked when he weighs in and mouths "187?"
