Who do you think won the Derek Chisora vs Dillian Whyte fight?

in fact before that barrage that caused chisora to gas out, he was looking like joe frasier in there lol.

 

I had Chisora winning by 2 . Whyte did some neater work and showed he was capable of greater accuracy, especially during some of hte mid-rounds when Chisora was just following him around without throwing back. But, Chisora won more rounds overall - won rounds on work rate and effective punching - inefficient and wild but effective. Chisora ossassionally looked like he was going to fall over from exhaustion but never seemed hurt whereas I thought Whyte was going down several times.

 

Not fence sitting but at the time I scored it a Draw. First half of the fight I had Chisora a couple up with Whyte clawing it back. The cleaner crisper stuff was from Whtye but the volume and more of the heavier shots were from Chisora. Best heavyweight fight I have ever seen, allowed because both guys have quiet a few flaws between them.

 

I had it 115-114 Whyte.
Think Chisora threw the bigger punches and had more "moments" but I was finding it hard to give him rounds where he'd be out boxed for 2 minutes and then start swinging hayemakers for a minute to try and nick the round.

Very close fight, but Chisora for me.
Can't stand that facker, but still had him edging it.

A great fight that once again showed what I already expected... Whyte isn't all that.

 

Chisora won that comfortably imo. He rocked Whyte to his core almost every round but he seemed to take most of the round off every second round from the 4th as he let those bombs fly. Even when resting he still landed as many big shots as whyte.

When you have an arena of people booing a decision then you know its the wrong 1. Infact outside of this forum i havent seen many people score it for whyte.

Great chin and HUGE heart from both guys.

 

Whyte by 2/3 rounds.

I thought Terry O'Connor had a nightmare allowing Chisora to get away with constant low blows and butting and should of allowed a count when Chisora was knocked down in the 12th by a clean shot.

Great fight would love to see a rematch.

 

Given how Whyte did against AJ, did anyone expect him to get the nod in a close fight?

I've seen clips but not the whole thing. Either way, it seems Whyte has found his level now

The ref let a great fight flow. The fact you barley noticed the ref is testament to his peromance imo.

Also Whyte ended up through the ropes after taking a big shot! Chisoras was clearly a slip that even biased sky had as a slip!

 

Hes the matchroom fighter and they clearly had 1 eye on the AJ v Whyte rematch judging by the commentary.

 

Whyte hit Chisora with the right Smith/Froch said good shot then Chisora hits canvas Haye calls it a knockdown no jumping up from Chisora calling it a slip in fact O'Connor had to pull him up.

Later on Sky team might have said slip but live on air it was called knockdown.

Replaying later you can clearly see shot connect and Chisora lose his legs and fall to canvas a clear knockdown and it should of been given.

 

Disagree but what about the whyte knockdown?

All Chidoras his deluded fans are coming out talking crap about the decision these are the same oddballs that were screaming he was robbed against Pulev he clearly lost both fights move on

 

Brilliant fight. Whyte has some chin, he looked gone in the 8th round! Great comeback.
I had it to Chisora by 2/3. I think he's inactivity in the later rounds made it hard for the judges to score them to him. Anyone got a pic of the scorecards?
I thought Haye kept the Sky commentary team right with a more honest view on the fight
