yeah that's a good point, I was about to make it but forgot, lol,,,, its not like I will hate him if he retires, but as a fan its a let down considering his last fight.
first of all you are defending ward over he's comment which clearly show he is in no hurry to ahve a rematch, so yes you don't seem to be in favour of the best fighting the best im stating my opinon, the majority of people already have the same opinon and the minority that don't wouldn't change their opinion even if ward actually came out and said he doesn't want a rematch.. If you are swayed by the facts then maybe you have only been listening to lies
No, saying that something a fighter says probably shouldn't be taken literally within the context of the boxing world is not "defending" him, as there's nothing to defend. You seem to think that Ward making these public comments is the same thing as him actually not rematching Kovalev. Words =/= actions. If someone is swayed by facts, it would reason that they haven't been listening to lies, lol. What a meaningless and confused statement. Thank you, I quite like being a genius and an exaggerated statement.
nice chart! listen, if you are mad at me because you think I think Ward is a douchebag you are barking up the wrong tree,,, I just called you out on a wild exaggeration that you have kept on defending. I am a fan of Ward and if he wants to retire I deep down have no problem with it, however, as a boxing fan just hearing the news I am frustrated by it because I was so looking forwards to a rematch. So from that stand point I don't mind making a little fun of him.
I'm not mad, lol. I sincerely wanted you to understand what hyperbole was so I was a little disappointed in you with your previous comment. I'm also worried you don't know what a chart is. I don't know what you think I'm meant to be defending. I truly do feel for you and want to help you develop your critical thinking skills though. You also don't seem to understand that my post which you quoted was not in response to the TS, otherwise you wouldn't keep mentioning the douchebag stuff. It was following something said by gmurphy.
yes well you have your slant on it to suit yourself and that's cool,,,,, even if its more garbage my point was fair from the start, which was stick to the point without such exaggeration. Which was to the TS (which you already admitted in your first reply to me) and not gmurphy as you have switched to now, no doubt in a attempt to create more distracting horse waste, lol
I did? Can you quote me and show where I did, or is this just in your fantastical imaginings? You little ragamuffin you.
my bad, you were talking to gmurphy and I took it as aimed at the thread starters comment,,,, I will be more careful in future, lol
I was confused by the A-side comments too, he was already treated as the A-side lol. I think Ward is playing games, I'd be shocked if he retires. By acting like he doesn't care for this fight, or any fight (hence the retirement "threat"), enables Kovalev's camp to get desperate. I don't know what more Ward wants but, it sounds like he's going to control everything in the rematch. I think Ward is bluffing, I believe he wants to be the best and prove he's the best. He's trying to win two battles before this fight though; the battle in his mind and the battle for Kovalev's. The mind games he's been playing will benefit him as much as it's meant to disrupt Kovalev. Don't believe me when I say he's "playing games"? Look at his reaction when he found out he won vs what he told Kellerman. He's playing games. There will be a rematch.
Pretty sure it was clear by the judges, ref, venue and purse split as to who's been in charge all along. Kathy Duva making K2 and Tom Loeffler look like absolute geniuses over here.
