floyd mayweather shows 100 million dollar check to Don King and Roy Jones

I saw this type of **** recently. I was in South Africa with work. Whilst at a nice hotel we got talking to the bell boy who said he didn't get a chance to get out much. A nice kid, we decided to take him to our event in which the artist area/green room was sponsored by a major champagne house. Who were the only people who had a prob with a young black South African guy being there? The young black South African bar staff who initially didn't want to serve him a drink. I couldn't believe it.

 

He deserved it. He's always in shape, he took this sport serious. I am also sure he won't lose that money. Even if he has a lavish lifestyle, he's not Mike Tyson style and buys Rolls Royces for street hookers. I think he must have good financial advisors.

 

Buying a THREE MILLION DOLLAR CAR in one colour and then buying THE SAME CAR for the SAME AMOUNT in a DIFFERENT colour is NOT a good financial move.

Good luck to the man, but he spends money like water. You simply cannot do that if you don't replenish it. And by all stories, he survives from Boxing.

It's his money. Who knows what will happen. If he goes broke then **** happens.

The guy is about as educated as that tree sitting out in my front yard.

Those cars that he's buying typically go up in value just like that Ferrari Enzo he had and sold and got more money for it than he paid for it. Cars can be good investments if you buy the right ones.

 

What confuses me is people want to see Floyd as being bad with money out of boxing when all the evidence from his fight career suggests he's a pretty smart businessman. That's not gonna change once he's hung up his gloves. Why would it? I'd open an account at the Bank of Mayweather...

 

That's classic "crab bucket" syndrome for you. I grew up in a majority black, poorer area of a Rust Belt town and saw that kind of junk all too often. I felt terrible for the good number of legitimately good people that got a ton of crap for wanting to work and/or educate themselves out of the hood, and 99% of it came from the people you'd think would be supporting them. But, if they couldn't/didn't get out, they'd rather keep the other folks pulled in, too.

 

Mayweather is a rich man but he will end up a lonely man.

 

Eff him and his check.

 

If i had to give up everything i have now to have Floyds life id turn the opportunity down in a heartbeat. Cant put a price on many things that are actually free.
