Andre Ward Could Really Learn Some Class From Roman Gonzalez (A True Champ)

i know what you mean about damned if he does damned if he don't and you're probably right in that respect and he doesn't owe anyone anything,I don't think it's his fault he has refs who turn a blind eye to him turning boxing matches into wrestling matches and dodgy judges,there's a reason why a pound for pound champion isn't popular and very well liked and I think it's because he's seen as being a bit false in that he hasn't a humble bone in his body and is the worst pound for pound boxer to watch,we know know why though know he was truly hiding from getting KOd,his knock down v Kovalev really did show his chin to be rather suspect?

I used to be a Ward fan, but I lost a little bit of respect with what he said after winning the super 6 (about Bute).
Then some more with the GGG fiasco, claiming to be ducked, talking about a email he could show but didn't want to because it wasn't his style (but talking about it for a year is though). Then I gained a bit more respect when he signed up for the Kovalev fight (major props to him), but after receiving a gift decision he showed his true colors.

And as a boxer, he owes a lot to boxing fans, because you can have all the skills in the world, it means jack **** if no one pays to see you. Apparantly he simply doesn't care.

 

Ward is happy to rematch Kovalev but he is the A side and should get more money.

They hate ward because he keeps beating guys people say he will lose to and proves them wrong. There's really no good reason to hate him to be honest other than your favorite fighter couldn't get the job done against him. Another reason for hate is that some will simply hate him because he's American and these same types hate on all American fighters.

Is it a new name for Ward's 2 or 3 over the top fans, like we use the term ******* or *****?

 

I thought Ward has been favourite to win every fight except the Kessler fight? Happy to be proved wrong.

 

He is humble and has showcased that countless times but it's another situation where another victory regardless of how you want to cut it is being devalued. He's probably tired of it right now. As someone else said, Wards not a Terrace Crawford or any type of thug or anything like that. This hate goes a little further than this not humble stuff generally speaking, not saying you hate him but Ward clearly has been a hated guy since Kessler.

As far as his chin. It's better than average. He took a perfectly timed shot from a hard puncher and got right back up. He wasn't hurt and his legs weren't wobbly. He seemed to have his bearings. It was a flash KD. Wards been down before. Think he held up fine for moving up and fighting the best in the division. It's hard to tell but maybe he has a JMM chin in that it seems to get stronger after a KD. Only been down twice. Kinda ridiculous given the opponents he's faced.

I had ward wining by 1 round. Like I said before it was a close fight that could have gone either way.

 

He probably has but that doesn't change the fact that his haters have picked him to lose some of those fights. Pbf was the same way he was favored to win but some of his haters still picked against him.

 

Makes it worse that he uses God's name, which in fact turns people off of God more, which is the exact OPPOSITE of what you're supposed to do if you're a professed Christian
