P.S. Didn't Stiverne pop for some PED too? Might as well just give it up and stop the testing B.S.. Just fight and entertain the fans. I don't care anymore as long as people aren't keyboard race rioting like they did when Wilder pulled out the first fight because of this madness.

 

I'm wondering... Stiverne was busted for drugs, fight wasn't canceled.... so neither he nor his camp are going to try to pull out, logically. It would be pretty hypocritical.

Also, Stiverne barely fights anymore and seems to of become a part time boxer, much like most of King's guys over the years. If he doesn't fight, he's not getting paid. Can't imagine he won't want that paycheck.

 

Stiverne wants his $1.3 mln for this fight, that's for sure.

 

Exactly the WBC painted themselves into a corner when they didn't cancel the fight when Stiverne tested positive. I think let them fight and pay a fine. Which is what Stiverne did do pay a fine.
Neither Povetkin or Stiverne tested for anabolic steroids both drugs are easily purchased at the drugstore over the counter.

 

Povetkin and Stiverne suck at masking drug use. My grandmother can do better.

More like massive gray zone has developed when it comes to performance enhancing drugs. Drugs are classified, reclassified, formulated and reformulated. It's a huge mess, and the lines becoming more and more blurred in recent years.

Anyone posting here now remember board hero Erik Morales getting busted for clenbuterol? Because I never hear that one brought up.

WBC withdrawing recognition of the bout. To me that means it will no longer be a title eliminator. I have not heard the fight is canceled. To be honest how can you cancel a fight when one man fails a test but not the other one.
Also both guys are due to earn 1.3 million for the fight that's a lot of bread to take away from Stiverne 12 hours from fight time over an over the counter drug.
I think fight goes on Povetkin pays fine and loses mandatory position.

 

Why? It's not their fault that Povetkin is a roided out loser.
