I'm not going to **** on a fighter until they get popped. Otherwise what choice does anybody have without evidence. AJ's body looks similar to Mosley's body when he was suspected to be on the clear for DLH II @154. Being cut with thick muscle mass. All I can say is AJ better not get popped once cause that's all I'm going to give him.
copy and pasted from a june 2016 newspaper interview ANTHONY JOSHUA today outlined the incredibly stringent drug testing programme he is signed up to, which requires him to inform UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) of his whereabouts at all times. The IBF world heavyweight champion even had to bring a team of testers along on a post-workout trip to Nando’s, such was the randomness of their visits. Joshua has so far been tested twice during his training camp in preparation for Saturday’s meeting with Dominic Breazeale, one of which resulted in the peculiar trip to the popular chicken restaurant. “One [test] was at 6am and one was at 10pm. They come at 8pm but you have to wait two hours for them to take your blood, as I’d just finished training so the blood needed to settle in the body. They actually came to Nando’s with us,” Joshua said. “We did it at quarter past 10. Normally they don’t let you eat or anything, but I explained that I needed to eat as I’d just trained, so they came to Nando’s. “The testers follow you everywhere when they turn up, even when you [gestures urinating]. They jump in the car with me to Nando’s, I can’t drive on my own. It’s hard, to manage your whereabouts. It’s quite annoying.” The 26-year-old is one of a select group of professional fighters in the UK who are signed up to UKAD’s Whereabouts system, an online schedule which Joshua needs to keep updated with where he will be at all times during his training camp. While Joshua admits it can be frustrating to constantly ensure UKAD know his movements, he concedes that random drug testing is integral to the sport. “On my phone I’ve got a reminder, it’s called Whereabouts, it’s run by UK Anti Doping, regulated by the British Boxing Board of Control, there’s a select number of athletes on it,” he said. “Every three months you have to let them know in advance where you’re going to be sleeping, where you’re going to be training and what you’re going to be doing. You have a one hour slot each night or each morning for where you’re going to be so they can randomly turn up. So let’s say from 6 ‘til 7, if they turn up at 6.59 but if I’ve gone out, I’ve missed it. You’re allowed to change the schedule but you have to let them know. If I forget or I’m running late it’s on me and I think if you get two strikes or three strikes you get banned. “It’s another job in itself, keeping on top of that.” in the run up to the molina fight hearn said joshua had been tested 5 times pre fight and he would have been tested post fight.
Not failing a test doesn't mean a boxer isn't doping, All it means is they passed the test. No professional athlete who takes PEDs and has handlers who know what they are doing, should ever get caught. It's the dopey ones (excuse the pun) who trip up. So is AJ doping? No proof he is, plenty of circumstantial evidence he might be....
I wouldn't be shocked if he ever got popped. At the same time, he was a beast back when he was in the Olympics too and he was definitely getting tested regularly back then. This was him in the British champs in 2011. Slighter than now, but you'd expect him to be a little lighter back then This content is protected Like I said, I wouldn't be shocked if he was ever caught, but until he is caught, have to give him some leeway
Probably because they do not test him. They may actually go through with the process but the actual sample gets disposed of.
the ukad does a biological passport so anthony joshuas blood samples would be compared from 2011 when he fought in the aba to today / if there were abnormalities in it they will be picked up. mo farah was accused last year just before the olympics of doping and he demanded that his test results all be released to the public / when they were his biological passpoert according to scientists who understand them said he was definatley clean if the speculation around joshua reaches such a level then he should also demand the release to the public of all his tests / and if innocent then his records in the public domain will prove it.
Where is the circumstantial evidence man? His size? If he ever gets caught. I'll be washing my hands of him, just like I'm doing with Povetkin. That guys career has been a mess considering his potential.
Like I say, circumstantial, so I'm not making a case he does use PEDs just that it's a possibility, especially when you bear in mind the 25llbs of lean muscle mass he's put on since the Olympics. Not impossible to have done this naturally, granted. Difficult, but not impossible. But what makes me most suspicious is the 16 months or so he took off between the Olympics and turning pro, when he was neither registered as an active amateur or professional. The official line was he was weighing up his career options, but that's a long time to decide on when to turn pro and with whom. In that time he would not have been subject to any testing. It's that window which makes me suspicious, and although I accept this proves nothing, for me it raises some doubt especially when you consider his dramatic change in body shape since 2012. Research has proven the benefits of steroid use remains well after an athlete stops taking them as maintaining muscle mass is way easier than building it. Anyway, that's my thinking....
Agree with your sentiment about benefit of the doubt. But to me he looks A LOT slighter in this video. Muscly yes, but more wiry, less thickset and his back has swollen to about twice the size since this fight... lol
That's because you haven't provided the proof yet. It seems that you are the only one who knows about it. Nobody else has said anything.
If VADA is used for the Wlad match, AJ will mysteriously morph from pre WWE wellness policy to post WWE wellness policy Kurt Angle. This content is protected This content is protected
Some ppl just don't get it how a real athlete lives and who he has around him. these types never been in a gym, unfortunalty his genetics will always cause doubts.
Human growth hormone is virtually undetectable. Ask yourself, how many professional athletes or Olympians have ever got popped for HGH. None of the HGH tests that they have are reliable and even if they came up with one, the experts say the test has to be administered very shortly after the doper had been injected because of its short half life.
