Man. I dunno. This is why Ward v. Golovkin will never happen

    Anyone? No opinions on this?

I dont believe he can beat any of the top 175lbers. No shame in it. Its just there are limits every fighter must face in reality.

Perhaps I call Andre Ward a scumbag POS and get more conversation going?

P4P obviously Golovkin is better than Smith. I just dont know if Golovkin could handle someone like Smith. I dont know if he could handle any top 175lber. Ward, Stevenson, Kovalev, Smith, Fonfara etc. I think he would meet a demise against any of those and I could probably add a few more to the list.

If he is holding his own with kov he is with smith
The saying is a good big un beats a good little one but the levels between theses two are worlds apart

Who said he was holding his own with Kovalev? Is that a gym tale? According to Kovalev, Canelo, was holding his own with Golovkin in gym sparring sessions.

Of course he could, Ggg beats anyone from 147-175 according to his HoF trainer Abel Sanchez.

Of course ggg could destroy every single one of them due to him being on way higher levels than all of them. Stevenson is the only one that has comparable power, huge difference is ggg has that kind of power in any type of shot he'll choose to throw while Stevenson has it only in his left which limits him greatly in actual fights inside that ring against far greater talents.

Anyone with ggg type power (really anyone with close to that type of power) CAN beat anyone within semi close in size. Ggg is a small mw, that's irrelevant when one has his talent. He uses great defense when he's matched with a fighter that's supposed to have power. Once he realizes their power is a joke for him he just fights to win in war like fashion

50/50 fight considering the big weight differential
GGG dropped Kovalev in sparring, Kovalev hadn't been training properly for a few months before and GGG was in the middle of a fight camp. John David Jackson and Kovalev have both talked about it.

Smith has a better resume than Golovkin. He beats him too. Takes his head clean off.

Yeah and anyone who cites sparring tales as an accurate reflection of how a fight might go in the ring, don't know s**t about boxing. 1. It's sparring ie: PRACTICING! 2. People exaggerate about sparring 3. People flat out lie about sparring 4. This is why we have fights in public...

Kovalev just said last week he was there and Canelo held his own. He said the fight is 50/50.
