I like Tony, but I do agree.

He's gone down the May/McGregor (at least he backs it though) path. Say's he's willing to die, doesn't throw back once wobbled.

Everyone knows Bellew can't fight his way out of a wet paper bag.
Not everyone realizes Haye can't fight much either.

Neither are annoying to me. Its another fight and personalities are irrelevant.

Haye is going to put on a good show and brutally KO Bellew

Bellew is going to provide world class smack talk and give it everything he has, then get reckless and get caught and stopped.

Because Haye is a heavy hitter. Far heavier than Bellew appreciates now.

Ironic how Haye referenced (amongst other things) how it was terrible preparation for Klitschko to fight Joshua having not been in the ring for 18 months.

I would totally agree with him.

Since 2012, he himself has had just 6 minutes in the ring and he's going up against someone younger and who's fighting regularly.

    6 minutes....

If he comes back as good as he was before I will give him a lot of credit.

Yeah thats the one thing that has a tiny flicker of doubt about a Haye win. If Bellew can make it a long fight Haye might struggle.

I don't think Haye thinks TB has any chance against him. Which might be his undoing.:pesas:

It's about levels, Haye is a level above as a fighter, Bellend level above as an annoyance. I hate this fight, Haye blows him away. I won't buy it unless undercard is spectacular. AJ v Molina undercard was prob the best in last 24 months.

I don't see anything other than a Haye KO in the early to mid rounds. Bellew, despite his ridiculous claims to the contrary, is not a big puncher. He wasn't at light heavy and although his ko percentage has increased at cruiser, his level of opponents have not been of high calibre. He has no more power than most boxers but is savvy enough to promote himself as having so in order to make himself appear an exciting. It's a weird one....As a pundit and when not promoting a fight he comes across very well. He does a lot for our local boxing scene up here visiting clubs etc and encouraging the youngsters BUT when in camp he's an absolute whopper and to 75% of scousers a cringe inducing embarrassment when he opens his mouth. I've never known a fighter to be so disliked in his own city....and Haye has called that right. However if he somehow manages to avoid getting tagged it could very interesting in the late rounds

Bellew is a puncher you can't deny that his % in the amateurs with big gloves and headguards unbelievable you only have to look at his last 2 fights to know he can punch, Makabu was asleep and as he modestly pointed out nobodies ever come close to doing that to Flores

Who are both those guys though, really?

And you mention his last two fights, but what about the rest of them? Where was this dynamic puncher then?

Haye has KNOCKED OUT WORLD CLASS fighters, shown huge power in both divisions, and can finish the job with either hand.

Well i'd say walking around at 15 - 15 1/2 stone and making 12 stone 7 probably accounts for a lot at light heavy although he still has some highlight reel ko's at light heavy. Has ko'd 6 of his 8 at cruiserweight. Who are they? Well the facts are that he was a heavy 2nd favourite against Makabu even in his home football stadium, Flores i'd agree totally with you isn't the best BUT has never been taken out like that.

Regarding Haye what world class fighters has he taken out at Heavyweight? Haye can punch for sure and at no point have I suggested he can't. However to say Bellew can't is simply incorrect.

Haye took out Del Boy. Vitali couldn't do that over the full course. Haye done that within 5.

No, Tony can punch, he's just never slept the kind of opposition that David has that's all.

David has laid out better opposition at CW than Tony has.

Like I say I know Haye can punch, but to say Bellew can't punch is wrong.

I rate Haye massively as a Cruiser but as a heavy for me never done it, plus where all all looking at Haye of 5 years ago plus which he isn't now
