AJs record isn't close to anywhere near as bad as Wilders when Wilder has had like 37 fights and AJ has had 18 and fought roughly similar guys. and he'd destroy Wilder imo, im not convinced by a world champion who was struggling with a football hooligan
Aj is the consensus favorite over Wilder. Any early odds out? I'd bet AJ is at least 2-1. Wilder has not beaten anyone to build his brand, and ya know what neither has AJ, but AJ has looked more impressive, and is in the UK. Listen closely here. Wilder actually has to do more that AJ solely because he's from the US. Let's face it fellow Americans we are not the mecca of boxing anymore. The UK is, and they will make the rules because their fans say so. Wider would be a star in the UK, and would have made more money over there. It's just the way it is. Wilder by no stretch of the imagination is anywhere close to having Tyson/Bowe/Holyfield type star power. Those days are gone for the moment. Wilder and his team will absolutely have to cater to AJ, and Hearn if he beats Wlad.
